Truck updated, now no Bluecruise

Got my first update and my Bluecruise has now stopped working. Also my center screen freezes on start up and takes about 45 seconds to reboot and work correctly. And my Ford pass app isn't showing the truck charging anymore. Any clue whats going on? Hate taking it to the dealer, they take forever to get to it.

A Sync reset may fix the boot up issue. Hold down volume down and skip track (bottom outside buttons) on the steering wheel until the center screen resets.

Is it BlueCruise that isn't working or Hands Free BlueCruise that isn't working? Has it happened more than one time?

Usually FordPass issues are solved by forgetting about it and trying again the next day. If you are impatient you can try logging out of the app and logging back in, restarting your phone, clearing app cache, and/or updating the app. Could also be the truck not communicating with Ford servers, which may also be solved by waiting. If you are impatient you could search the forum for the fuse to pull to reset the modem or pull the negative terminal on the low voltage battery.

Your issues might also be something else. The above are common troubleshooting tips I've used or read about.

Can you log into your FORD.COM user account?

I'm hoping you are not locked out, if you are begin the password reset process.

If you can get into the account, then a cache clearing and force stop might help, just don't delete user data or your PAAK settings will be purged.

Did you do a master reset for any reason ? I reset sync connected services and I wasn’t able to use hands free blue cruise for a week. In my scenario the phone support said there was nothing they could do but wait 7-10 days and sure enough they were right.

The update may have switched off the connectivity settings in the truck. Please check it.
There have been a couple reports about this in conjunction with recent updates.

Others have mentioned above what it could be. I'll add, if the sample size was one it could be a glitch that will fix itself. For instance, in certain light conditions with a lot of glare the cameras can't see well enough and HandsFree won't engage.

Keep us updated.

The connectivity is on. Reset did nothing. I have not done a master reset. Its very frustrating!

Well I just talked to Ford. Its got to go to the dealer. The OTA knocked out the connectivity. Said it was a known issue.

Well I got the truck fixed! Had to go to the dealer. When the last update came through, it glitched somehow and deleted my modem. The update didn't complete. Now they got me all updated and seems to be working great now. Even Ford pass is working again.
