Hmm... maybe for the day, definitely not in the running for month or year. It's insane how presumptive people are that everyone understands all this crap.. and that is coming from someone with an IT background which like many industries is laden with acronyms.

Same here, and I found it annoying in the IT world, just as I find it annoying when my medical family tries to use them. It's kind of a basic thing to know your audience and then speak accordingly. You don't sound smarter just because you use terminology of that field....

Got my vehicle back this afternoon. I have been staying up with updates via FDRS myself, but apparently I had the following applied by my local dealer - GWM, BCM and RFA. I can confirm that walk away lock works now. Its to early to tell if this fixed my carplay no audio issues. So far so good though

Trucks at dealership for TSB. This is new, or was this in the most recent beta release?

Took my truck in to get heat system checked/replaced in the cab. Was given a loaner. The Sync in the loner is so much more advanced than my truck? Asked if they could look and see if there are any updates they can push via wire. They said most likely no?? You think all would run off one system like Tesla and not have different Sync versions per model?

Your truck has nothing to do with how the app looks and you know if you received the email from Ford and are in the beta. If you are posting someone else's screen shot and you don't have it in your version of the app, then you know they are violating their terms of the beta program.
