VIN Check Please

Hello all, new owner and forum member here. I’ve been reading the various threads and guides on how to perform FDRS upgrades, before I make the investment on the required cable and battery charger, can someone please look up my VIN to see how many upgrades are available for my truck? 1FT6W1EV8PWG60670

Do trucks generally leave the factory with the latest software/module upgrades? My truck was built In November 2023 so I’m curious if my software is pretty current. Thank you in advance.

Nope, they leave with a consistent version of the software, think reallllllly slow ring deployment. I'm guessing because sales guys never stay current on anything. After you buy, you will eventually start getting OTAs. My August build is just starting to get them last month. Just enjoy the truck and be patient. Updates will come.

Wow, I didn’t know you could do this. Any possible way to check mine. I just bought it last light and I have to drive to Colorado Friday to pick it up and drive it home.
A friend is letting my borrow his adapter so I can use the Superchargers on the way home.
He said make sure the truck is updated and I can only use 250kw stations

Again, the list below is not official from FDRS, but here you go. The truck has a build date of November and no OTA history, so you will not be able to use Tesla chargers from my understanding of the EV's.

You can use the Tesla charger. The software is what enabled plug and charge to work with the superchargers

Huh? I thought we could still activate superchargers via the Tesla app and use them even without the OTA for plugNcharge.

Since I don't own an EV, I am not well-versed with what some of the updates actually do in terms of every day use with the vehicles. I learn something every day, though.
