I'd like a pet mode but there's already a work around. Just leave the truck running and lock it with the external keypad. The only thing that's missing is the screen showing the internal temp or something obvious to onlookers.

Showing the charging kwh rate is a must. Its shocking that's STILL missing.

Come to think of it, I got my truck a year ago, and there hasn't been a single major feature release has there?

I'd like a lot of the features/functionality already mentioned. I'd also like the wireless CarPlay to actually connect to my phone instead of my wife's phone. It seems obvious to me that if my phone is associated with my profile (and it is), that it would connect to my phone. For whatever reason, if my wife's phone is in range (and it often is), it will _always_ connect to her's rather than to mine.

I've been camping multiple times now with the truck and generator mode is #1 on my list. I want to be able to keep pro power going without the truck on, and be able to lock the vehicle and walk away while my cooler stays powered.

Not sure if there's already a way to do this, but have the lights not all come on when I walk up to it after dark at the campsite. Sometimes I want the lights, sometimes I don't want to wake up the neighborhood.

It's got four wheels - Waiting on my '22 Lightning
This may sound quite petty, but I am sick and tired of having to change the clock back to the 24 hour setting that I run my life on. My 2015 never needed to be reset. Every time I get in the truck and did not use the app to start it.....I have to reset the 24 hour clock DESPITE it being slid over to be on.

So freaking annoying.

I second this! It is almost as if the Lightning is picking the wife as the favourite. (On the upside, my wife says the truck likes her better which eases the pricing discussions)

Big IF. But sport mode isn't for efficiency, it's for a more spirited driving experience.

Honestly, I would prefer a physical button for sport mode. I used it in my "old" gasser for passing all the time and just plain fun once and a while. Quick press and you're off.

The current toggle is annoying but I've never needed to have it on all the time.
Sport mode on the Lightning only makes the accelerator more responsive. It does not give you quicker power like the gassers. Sport mode on the gassers changes the transmission parameters to keep the ICE revs up and provide more power quicker to the wheels. With the Lightning, full power is still available for passing (or anything else) - just press the pedal a little further than needed in sport mode. It is all still there. I do agree that it should be a setting that can be set and maintained by the profile as this is a driver preference.

Check out my post #37 and post #45

This is a setting. Vehicle > Lighting > Welcome Lighting. PS - if yours works reliably that is a good thing. With mine and PAAK, it only seems to work inside my garage :/

Battery Percentage - This a is really easy fix. The left side of the clamshell gauge gives you an analog-like gauge with the percentage of power available at the top of the gauge based on temperature and state of charge (SOC). Why wouldn't you do the same with the SOC gauge instead of putting 100 at the top? We all know the top of the gauge is 100%. Much more useful to use that space for the actual %SOC like on the power gauge right beside it.

Since our '22 and '23 trucks won't get Dashcam/Sentry support, mine would be:

- A better generator mode
- Pet Mode
- not having to reselect drive mode everytime we turn the truck on
- Battery Percentage on cluster outside of calm screen
- more features/interactivity with the app (more Pro Power control, Frunk Button, 1 time charge settings, 1 time preconditioning settings, remote climate control...etc)
Pet mode!

Don’t we have that? I can open my door with a number code and start the truck using a password. What function are you looking to add ?

The ability to charge at greater than 11 amps on a 120v circuit. I can tell the difference between a 15, 20 and 30 amp circuit. I can set my EVSE to any amperage so let me control the charge rate. I'm not going to install a 240v outlet at every relatives house I want to visit in the rural midwest and this makes overnight trips all the harder. I would also like to take the truck camping and some campgrounds only have tt30 hookups.
Feel free to bury this setting or make me read a disclaimer before activating it if Ford is worried about people pulling too many amps if they don't know what they are doing.

I also don't seem to have the Global Up/Down window option on my XLT. I love using that on my Fusion.

You can turn off the approach lights in the menu. I had to do that because I have retractable running boards that Ford decided to tie to the approach lights and they flap like a chicken every time I walked by the truck.
