What is this yellow adapter(?) that came with my Lightning?

Strange that Ford is still randomly including these in MY23 builds, my June 2022 build didn't get one, or the PDI crew lifted it.

I've never seen it either. ('23 Lariat built in Feb '23).

The demo I bought was put into service Jun '22, got a net but no adaptor. I tried to buy one on Amazon and they sent me the wrong one twice. Box was labeled correctly but it was the wrong adaptor inside. Have yet to try again.

I believe it came with those that ordered a mobile charger and pro power. My 23 Pro had Pro Power but no Mobile Charger and it didn't get one. My 23 XLT ER had a mobile charger (the dealer took it back and knocked an equivilent amount off the price after we had finished negotiating) and has Pro Power, and it got one.

That is what the purpose of that adapter is, to hook up your mobile charger to Pro Power and charge other EVs (that's why the Ford Mobile Charger is only rated to 30a, not 32a...so it doesn't trip the Pro Power outlet). I just don't understand why Ford includes this (which is a pretty cool feature), yet won't include the information about this in their marketing...or explain these features to the dealer.

Jan 23 build here. I had ordered the mobile power cord as well as part of my build.
No adapter here, I didn't get the nets either fwiw.

I think it's random luck who gets one and who doesn't, not sure where the failure is, production line final factory accessory loading, or PDI check out at the dealer...... I didn't get the adapter either.

I got the net and twistlock adapter on my pro 10/23 build with the 9.6 propower.
Also purchased a twistlock to 20 amp 3 way splitter. But for some reason all 3 outlets utilize the same 30 amp 120 leg.

Then I also grabbed a 14-50p to 20amp 240 R. This will fit my portable level 1 120/240 charger.

I do have the glo in the dark safety frunk release.

I bought a 2023 XLT SR 311A last week with Pro power and tow tech package (built 12/23) and it came with the adapter and the frunk button cover. I realized I could power my wife's 2023 Tesla Model Y with it.

I called my salesman and told him I should have gotten this and to look for it. He found one and held it for me until I could swing by and pick it up.

I think it came as part of the mobile charger kit. You can plug it into your truck bed and then the mobile charger plugs into the yellow adapter so you can charge another EV from your Lightning.
