One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the infotainment software. I know Ford was pushing to move away from Sync and on to an Android OS system, but I am not sure of timing. I don't think anything will change for '23, but '24 models could potentially have a new software for the user interface.

This isn't a Lightning-specific innovation, but I think we will see plug-in versions of the ICE F150 and F250 announced sometime in 2023 or 24 for production in Gen15 ICE F150 and F250.

As far as the F150L-specific predictions:

1. Pro SR and ER will only be sold to fleets. Those who got MY22 order invitations and deferred to MY23 will probably have a limited window to order a MY23 Pro.

2. New interior and exterior colors

3. Maybe a street performance model in MY24 with adaptive suspension

4. Across-the-board price hikes for all trims

5. Incremental improvements in range and charging speeds via software updates. May or may not be available to lower prior model years.

6. Blue cruise, B&O, B&O unleashed, moonroof available on all trims and battery packs

7. Front-and rear signature lighting standard on all models

8. Maybe an LiFePo battery pack on SR modelsin MY24/MY25

9. 15" portrait screen available on all trims

I wonder if with proper funding and a donor truck could you take the bed and cab of a super cab and put it on top of the lightning drivetrain and frame? I don't think that a super crew with 78" bed will work with the different wheelbase.
That’s how my ‘98 went from supercab short bed to regular cab long bed after my wife flipped it a couple of times back in 2012. A lot of work, but basically plug and play, back then anyway.

F150 model will reach its golden anniversary in 2025, primetime for a makeover.

Made in USA Maverick BEV for me, please!
That would mean moving production from Mexico where the Maverick is assembled.

Heat pump. LFP battery for standard range trucks. Higher price. Less options.

1. Price increase for certain on all trims
2. Less standard equipment with some items bundled as an optional package as another way to essentially increase prices further.

I am very happy for the 20K or so folks who are on their path to owning a MY 22 F150L. For the roughly 180K remaining reservation holders (well, the subset who are on this forum anyway), what do you make of the desired configuration note that Ford reportedly sent to dealers? I am somewhat optimistic (for a change) that Ford will use the data to either (1) build what reservation holder want to buy (Gold Star to Ford if they do that) or (2) provide some clarity to those, like me, who only really want a Pro of how many Ford intends to produce. I've just replaced my beater truck, so I am content to wait for a 2023-2024 F150L, but if the wait is going to be futile, I'd rather just rip the proverbial Band-aid off and move on.
