I hate to start a thread but it seems that a ton of Lightning owners has some sort of issues like mechanical and electronic.

It might just be easier to make this thread so that everyone who's truck has run for weeks, months without any issues. From the looks of it, not many people will post a flawless experience. :censored:

If it was damaged in transit and still needs body work, does that count? What if I need the anti-ting washers to stop the clicking when starting and stopping? Other than those two non-critical things, I haven't had any problems.

1 month with minimal issues. Android auto fails to connect wirelessly sometimes, or when i try opening the frunk while the car is still moving. Most of my issues are self-inflicted. Sometimes the 1 pedal drive turns off when i'm in the mode menu. or one time when i turned the seat heater off it took a few seconds for the icon to turn from red to off.

Purchased our Lightning on October 5th. The next week we took a 1200 mile trip. No problems after 5k miles, but I will be having the front light bar looked at during the 10k mile service. It just needs to be lined up.

Other than that I've only had the normal software issues everybody else is having, with no optimism that Ford will actually fix them.

5 months + 6,000 miles later = no issues - no problems.

Perfect since day 1.

After 5 1/2 months and 8500 miles, I can't recall and issue that wasn't resolved by reading the Owners Manual or the posts on this forum. Most of my issues turned out to by me not understanding the operation or the idiosyncrasies of an EV. This truck has exceeded my expectations and I love it.

I do have a problem with the mobile power cord faulting out in cold weather, but that's not the truck.

This is all good news. For a minute, I thought mechanical and software errors were just inevitable. I am very glad to hear from so many happy Lightning owners.

I look forward to a delivery of my Lariat ER some time in February.

Thanks for ALL the replies. :)

Yes, you can pretty much rest as most owners do not have issue - it's just this forum attracts a larger number of people who complain and we see them more than the ones who are happy.

Just like Mustang Mach E forum = many people are happy, some are not.

I've had my Lightning for 7 weeks and 1100 miles. The truck and charging station are perfect. ALL my issues have been with both Ford apps i.e., FordPass and Ford Charge Station Pro. From the very first week FordPass hasn't worked properly and Ford Tech support can't seem to figure out why. Luckily the truck charges in accordance with the schedule I set so I've never been stuck with a low SOC.

4+ months and 4000 miles, overall the truck is fine, I would not consider the slowness of OTA's to be a big issue, it will come at some point, the FP app has it's issues but nothing I can't adapt around its weaknesses. So, I would say that I have had a good experience so far.
