Will I get Blue Cruise 1.5

Hi all,
Coming from a Tesla with FSD. I have a 2024 Lightning Flash, which I believe is on BC 1.3, as I can que lane changes with the stalk. I am pretty impressed with where Ford is on this, but I'm curious about backwards compatibility. I would much rather have the vehicle make lane changes on its own. Will this unit ever have that capability, or is the hardware difference in the 2024 vs 2025 prohibitive of my truck. I am in my trial so just trying to to decide if subscribing makes sense.

Many of us have waited on 1.2, 1.3 and now 1.4 and NONE have been delivered in 2 years. What your truck was delivered with is likely what you'll have for the life of the truck. You have left the Tesla ecosystem and you will learn to regret that more and more each day.

Your truck actually came with BC 1.2 (link). That version introduced the Lane Change Assist feature. Ford started to roll out 1.4 to some 22's and 23's in a test group (see my sig). I think if it's successful, then 1.4 will likely come to 2022-2024's.

Ford has stated 1.5 requires more processing power implying modules are different. Thus we will never get 1.5.

I called Ford and asked the same question.
If I pay for BC, will I get upgraded to the current 1.4. They said no.
I said, if I'm paying full price for a gallon of milk, I'm not going to grab the stale milk. If you sell day old bread, it's discounted, not full price..

For comparison: Bought a Tesla in 2022 with FSD Beta also a 2023 F150L in November of the same year with BC 1.3. The F150L was a Buy Back in 2024 and then bought another F150L with BC 1.4 in that same year. In the same span of time the Tesla FSD left beta and is now on ver 12.++.

My viewpoint is Ford makes fantastic trucks that perform well and save us a lot on operational costs, but Ford is'nt going to be a technology leader any time soon!
