I love my 23 Lariat ER so much, I put it up for sale as I have a Cybertruck too and also love that.
I put it up for sale a few months ago I got two 58k offers and I ended up backing out and still trying to sell the Cybertruck.
I love everything about the truck, except the slow software. Tesla definitely has that one in the bag.
I drive it way more than the Cybertruck, already have 12k on the Lightning and 7k on the Cybertruck.
One other tiny gripe, the center console doesn't want to stay up, there's no locking it into place. Any tiny bump with your arm and it closes.
FYI- There is a thread out here that shows how to address that last issue for like .20 cents.

Absolutely without a second of hesitation! Great truck, excellent ride, & access to Tesla superchargers! The only thing, other than more range/software updates, that I would like is the King Ranch trim line.

*Full discourse: I am Ford loyalist with this being my 6th Ford product.
We're glad you're enjoying the Lightning. Thank you for being part of the Ford Family! :)

Thank you, I’ll search for it.
Searched and only found one complaint about glovebox tension, but didn't see a remedy
Can you post a link to the fix.

If an EV works for your lifestyle then 100% yes. This has been the most maintenance free experience of truck ownership ever. Love it.

Yes, I would buy another. 71K on my 2022 Lariat ER, so I probably have a couple of years (at least) left on this one.

It's a joy to drive (or not drive, since I got the BC Handsfree upgrade), and maintenance is nothing - one set of tires around $45K, and some wiper blades.

I know some features have been deleted in newer models, but I never used the parking assist, and the onboard scales are really just a cute gimmick.

There is nothing you could go wrong buying a Lightning! We have so many and every customer enjoys driving them! Interior is sharp and runs great! Glad to hear all of the positive comments!

I would lean towards Rivian if I was making another purchase today. It's been a great truck but the OTA and software experience is sub-optimal at best.

I've owned many vehicles including a new F-150 ICE. This is still the best vehicle and truck I've ever owned. I would absolutely buy one again. I'll own this one until significant battery technology advancements are made. Today, you'd buy the same tech as my 2022, but for 75% of the cost I paid.

I am interested as well please :)

I am very happy with my truck. After nearly 12k miles in 8 months, I'd buy it again!

Yep! F-150 form factor works well for me, as does SR since I don't travel much. I like being incognito. Frunk is the best in the business. I'd buy used to take advantage of this depreciation dip and because miles on EVs don't bother me.

I think my biggest concern is resale and batteries with high mileage in a short term.
Really, if the truck fits my daily mileage needs today, it will in three years. The range will still be good. BUT, if the batteries start to degrade by 100,000 miles (for me at 3 years) who’s gonna want a three year old Lightning with 100k on it? I’ll be forced to drive it into the ground. These trucks are new. Has anyone witnessed 25% degradation in 100k? That’s SR territory, which will NOT work for me, as I proved with my 2022 Lightning. I guess I just need a little push from overthinking. I think I recall a guy footing the freight got a couple cell replacements, and it was over $10k. I doubt Ford will offer new replacement batteries with updated tech to us early adopters, like inserting energizer lithium batteries in a flashlight over the old Rayovac’s.
