I suppose what I am saying is I assume the entire reason you want to disable it is for looks/cleaning up the front end? If so, you will be dremeling off the visor and removing the dam altogether which makes disabling the motor moot.The last bullet leads me to believe it can be disabled via FORSCAN. I've been reading that when certain drive modes (snow, 4x4, trail etc) are enabled the air dam is also disabled.
If you are disabling the airdam for some other reason and leaving the hardware intact, I suppose investigating via forscan is worthwhile. Not sure why you would want to leave that monstrosity on the car but disable the function, but that's your call.
