The last bullet leads me to believe it can be disabled via FORSCAN. I've been reading that when certain drive modes (snow, 4x4, trail etc) are enabled the air dam is also disabled.

I suppose what I am saying is I assume the entire reason you want to disable it is for looks/cleaning up the front end? If so, you will be dremeling off the visor and removing the dam altogether which makes disabling the motor moot.

If you are disabling the airdam for some other reason and leaving the hardware intact, I suppose investigating via forscan is worthwhile. Not sure why you would want to leave that monstrosity on the car but disable the function, but that's your call.

For the moment, I just want to disable it because it keeps getting hung up on the rubber piece in front of it and I have a road trip tomorrow. I need to schedule a visit to the dealer to see why it's getting hung up.
LoL it is quite ugly, I agree, but I don't want to remove it just yet.

I hear ya now.

I have noticed 0.0% impact on MPG since removing it. Makes you question how much value that really adds and why Ford would include a seemingly useless part.

Today added to my buddie's: Rock Crawl Mode to my non FX4, disabled Double-Honk, added Transmission and Coolant digital temperatures, and disabled the Fake engine noise on my Powerboost.

Anyone know how to change the default chime type?

I know this will not be popular, and has been mentioned before, but has anybody seen a way to boost the fake engine noise sound? I actually like the concept and wish it was louder.

Does anyone know how to disable the DRL all together? We just got 2 new F150s for LE patrol vehicles and would like to be able to completely shut the lights off when they are in drive from time to time. I read through the thread and haven’t seen anywhere where someone disabled them. Looking through the spreadsheet, I did see a “police mode dark car” setting. Anyone know what that does?

Police mode does exactly what you are considering. If you Google it you will find that mode has been available on F150's for many years.

I do not see "Rock Crawl Mode" on the forscan sheet. Can you tell me more about this?
Thanks

I didn't see the fake engine noise in the original spreadsheet, how did you do this?

Any idea why I am getting the message "service procedure interrupted" when I try the code for Lincoln mirrors? Same thing when I run PCM relearn. I was able to change my tire size using the coding method to correct my speedo and I also was able to disable the seatbelt chime and enable Bambi mode, so some things are working and some are not.

Are you on the most up to date version?

Awesome thanks! and thats for the in-cabin noise correct?
Yup! Just turns off engine sound "enhancement". After putting some dynamat over my pedestrian sounder and programming that, my truck is soo quiet.
