Tried 2 different browsers, another computer, and on my phone with no luck.
I’m in the same boat, thought it over on Thursday night and now I can’t place the order online. Got the same song and dance to order in the dealership but I ordered several hours away and the dealership isn’t returning my calls…

Not in Wave 4 either, I'm Priority 4 at my dealer and so far only 1 person got an order in (Priority 1), during Wave 1. Guess I'll be MY '23, but all good.

Make time to walk in and finish the order, from my experience many of the dealers DO NOT want to negotiate details by email or phone.

Disappointed for me too!
Have NO need for a Lariat or Plat trim.

If by a snowball's chance in h3ll - I do get one in wave 5 or 6, I'll end up immediately selling / flipping the truck to someone who really wants one for a large profit to pay for a Pro trim that I really wanted....
I think that waves 5 and 6 are going to cause problems for many. A bunch of people that can't afford lariat or platinums are gonna get invites and order thinking they gonna flip.. come delivery time, a majority will get shafted when dealer makes them sign the no-resale provision. Then what? They'll be stuck with a truck they can't afford or might not even qualify for financing (which gives the dealer a free car to throw on the lot and overprice).

Unless u have the cash, don't make a dumb investment that might backfire on you. Nobody says you HAVE to order. If you want pro or XLT just defer your invite and waitl til fall for 2023MY.

Ford F-150 Lightning Wave 4 invitation - did you get one?? 6653A843-A55C-482D-B6CF-F411FFAE1334

Finally got some response from the dealer. Although I was an early reservation- don’t hold out hopes for a 2022 model.

not sure if I was 9th overall or 9th remaining that have not ordered

To give u some (possibly false)hope, by him saying sometimes 2, I'm figuring they had 1 invite for 3 waves and 2 for one of the waves =5 orders. So if they get 2 invites/wave for final two waves, or get one more 2-invite wave, and have a final "filler" wave, or you might squeeze one in. That's assuming you're gonna want a platinum which will probably gonna be all that's left. Or at least you may get to be higher up on the deferred list for 23MY.

I’m in the same spot. Though with XLT gone I intend to punt to next model year, I tried to build a Lariat just to double check the dealer fees. Then it said my connection timed out and I can’t get past the error screen. I’ve tried multiple devices, networks, private browsing, etc, and no joy. I don’t really want to “order at the dealer” since I don’t plan on ordering until a Pro or XLT is available anyway.

You don't need 400A. I'm installing it in a 200A panel.
hmmm no thanks! you should REALLY check with your insurance company...Ford requirements for installation of the 80A charger are clear and that's what insurance companies / local by laws will likely require.

For sure you can derate it, but I would not put my money on doing that without the proper set up, clearance from insurance company, local bylaw, etc...- if a fire were to happen, your insurance company will be looking at your house with a microscope and they could easily deny payment sole on the basis that you installed a 80A charger on a 200A when that specific charger had a clear outlined requirement for 400A....too much risk to lose my $1.1M house to something as small as that LOL...

I feel like a lot of people do work without thinking about the potential consequences to insurance, future sale, etc.

And where is this “clear outlined requirement for 400A” you speak of?

right from the Ford's website....320A service required....but it's clear, it requires a 100A breaker, so when you apply the 80% rule it might just not be enough to power to rest of your house.

Yeah I planned on Lariat SR but was debating the Lariat ER. So I suppose if I got an order option and only platinum was available I would probably pull the trigger on it.
Keep playing the waiting game until then

The 320A service requirement was originally stated for powering the house off the truck, not for charging it. And that requirement was removed.

They removed that piece of info from their website over a month ago after realizing it was mistakenly put there, and Tom Moloughney and others have clarified with Ford that it is not necessary or required.

Ford pulled down that requirement because it was wrong. It is also based on the backup power usage and not the charging side of things. For charging, it all depends on the other electrical loads in your house. I have a 150A panel, but very few other loads (everything is natural gas). We had an electrician come out and verify that we won't have any issues. We put in the 100A circuit already (wiring anyways), but only have a 40A EVSE on it right now for my Wife's Mach-e. I didn't want to pay to have wire pulled twice!

I'm in a similar situation, our house load center is 100 amp, but we probably only hit peak amps of 30 to 40 during summer when window AC's, washing machine, fridge and Microwave might be running at the same time.

I will not be placing a 100 amp draw on that panel without a minimum 200 amp panel upgrade!

A second service exclusively to the garage at 200 amp's would cover the Lightning and any future EVSE needs, I can not convince my wife to change to an EV as of now.
