Spoke to my dealer today. So far they can only see what I know, it’s in a rail car. Last update was 5/29. As my dealer said it could be in the state, it could be in a rail yard in Michigan or it could be anywhere in between! Exciting to see that deliveries are happening either way. Where’s all the Rapid Red trucks? I’m traveling for work the next two weeks so I’m gonna have a hard time staying focused if it shows up while I’m in North Dakota or Oklahoma!

On a side note he assured me that no one (customers) would be driving it around - it’s not their mannequin. I’ve known these guys a long time and told my salesman that if he wants to test drive it, he has my blessing. He said there is an update every morning with the team as everyone wants to check one out in person so they are all waiting for mine to show up.

Don't they have the rail car number? It should be on their report. Once you have that you can track the rail car via a phone system.

He had a number, so probably. Not sure if they aren’t tracking it themselves that way? I kinda just want the text from him with a picture of the transporter like we’ve done for the past several vehicles I’ve ordered from him. I think knowing specifics makes it harder for me not to think about it! Haha

When I get that text from him… I’ll know.

I don’t know if any other Platinum owners feel this way, but I like these Lariat wheels and the XLT wheels (shown in the rapid red mannequin above) better than the 22” Platinum wheels. I’m usually the opposite with bigger/premium/higher trim levels. Platinum wheels aren’t bad, just feel like Ford did a great job with these above.

I’d gladly swap out my Lariat dark wheels for those bright Platinum wheels.

I don’t need the 22”, but I’d take them!

I’m not a fan of the Lariat dark wheel style. Wish we had an option to choose.

Hoping that they deliver on Saturdays!! I don't think that I have ever checked my emails, phone, texts as often as I have in the past week. Mine is built and saw that the dealership up the road received two earlier in the week with nearly the same blend date....one retail and one mannequin; Not my dealership, though.
