Just took delivery of my 2022 F-150 lightning ER a little bit ago. But I’ve been having some issues with my home charging that I’m not sure if anyone else is having.
So I have had a ChargePoint home flex that is hardwired to a dedicated 60 amp circuit. I have been using this charger for a year without any issues. It charges my Kia Sorento PHEV with no issues as well as my Ioniq 5. But every time I plug in the lightning it stops charging during the middle of the charge. Sometimes it goes for an hour and a half sometimes for 3 or 4 hours. But then I always get a charging interrupted (red light) and have to unplug and replug. I have reached out to ChargePoint but have not gotten any response as of it.
here’s what I’ve done to try and resolve the issues.
reboot the charger from ChargePoint app.
reset it to factory settings.
Then I tried setting the amperage to a 50 amp breaker vs what it should be set as a 60 ampbreaker.
Ive tried turning off charging locations in the F-150 lightning.
My thinking is it’s a communication issue between the truck and the charger. It charges from the included mobile charger with no problem. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks so much!
