I have the exact same problem. I've gone from 319 to 265. I'd love to hear what Ford tells you. My Lariat was manufactured in May and I took delivery in June. I've gone 4,200 miles with an average MPK of 2.3

Remember the range is a guess-o-meter based on driving habits. Not saying there isn't something wrong, but below is some math that might help.

131kW usable battery pack
2.3 mi/kWh
90% Assumed starting SoC based on Ford recommendation

131Ă—2.3x0.9=271 miles

Not too far off...

And how many miles.do you actually get driving it from 100% to 0?
I cannot answer because I've never driven it to Zero. But the vehicle does "use" up the miles accurately. For example, if it says 265 miles at 100%, and I drive 145 miles, it then says I have 120 miles left.

Thanks for the calculations. I'm wondering if I should be "going on record" with Ford about it (in case it gets worse.) I'm thinking I should just "lay low" for now to see how things shake out over the next, say, 6 months.

I’ve only tested that once. My estimate was about 30 miles short of what it said when I left. I had 271 miles on 100% and I had to stop to charge to get to my location which was 250 miles away. Almost all highway. I will be testing again. I love the truck but it doesn’t come close to the mileage promised.

I don't drive every day so I don't charge daily. And my charging location in the apartmeent garage is not handy, so that's anoter reason I don't charge every day. When I do charge, I charge to 100% (even though in the FordPass app, I have the preference set to 90%. I cannot figure out why it's charging to 100 when I ask it to only charge to 90.

I will only charge to the Ford-recommended 90% unless I have a long trip.
So your range estimate will only be 90% of what you would get from 100%. 271 miles means you're averaging about 2.3 mi/kWh which is decent.

How much of your driving is 65mph+?

How much range does your gasoline vehicle lose when it gets cold?

I bought the extended range lariat and when I picked it up 6 weeks ago it read 321. Now 100% is between 260-270. Ford cannot tell me why. Sales person has told me he has escalated it but no one at the dealership can tell me anything at this point.
Can you post a picture to show range and battery percentage?

Why would you go to Ford about it ?

There is no problem with the EVs in the cold - it's all expected.

Is this your first EV ?

I told you why in my question.
You didn't actually ask a question to be clear. But if I can infer what you intend, "going on the record" won't do much. Your battery has a certain initial useable capacity. The BMS will track how much actual capacity you have in kWh. As long as you have above 70% through the end of your battery warranty, Ford isn't required to do anything.

I can answer your charging issue though. By default, the Lightning will charge to 100% on L2 and 90% on DC. There are two ways to change this:

1) Before each charge session, you can set the one time charge limit to your desired charge level. This only applies to your next charging session (and it might reset if you drive, not sure on that...). You can also do this through the FordPass app, though generally I think you only get the option to "Charge to 100%" and only after you have plugged in.

2) For L2 charging, you can set up a "Preferred Charging Location". You do this in the infotainment or in the FordPass app. One of the preferences for the charge location is the charge limit at that location. Looks like this in the app.
