So I deleted my only saved charging location which is my home because it stopped charging during the set time of 1am-7am and was also charging to 100%. Before I deleted the location I tried to change the times and re-save but it continued to charge immediately when plugged in. Now after the deletion I can’t get my home to show up. I’ve done two charges. One I started and then stopped manually after about 30 minutes when that failed to come up as a previous location I then set a one time charge to 85% and let it complete that. Still does not come up in previous location so I can’t save a location because it keeps telling me I need to complete a charge one time at the location. Any ideas?

In the car or on the app? For me the car works better.

That said, I haven't tried it before charging at least once at the location and saving it once it shows up in the list - which is somewhat dumb because it won't let me choose my address, only my next door neighbor's 🙄

How many days has it been since you charged there last?

I can’t get it in either the truck or the app

The weird thing is that I have charged at 4 or 5 different public chargers and none of those have even shown up in my previous list

Nothing. I'm just wondering if I changed a location or privacy setting early on because after I saved my home initially it has never listed another charger in my "previous" locations. Is it supposed to list public chargers I've used in "previous" locations?

Mine just started doing something similar. The app shows the charge location and that it should only charge to 90%, and this worked fine before the two recent updates I received this weekend. Now, however, when it is parked at home it charges all the way to 100%. I also noticed that the app says it can not locate the truck and I think this is related. It doesn’t recognize that it is at home, so it is not using the saved location limit. I’m not sure what changed in the updates (the new UI update and the one that gives you YouTube both arrived this weekend).

Ahhh, are you talking about Ford Navigation?

I don't recall seeing my "HOME" as a charging location persay, this issue is mentioned in another thread with regard to navigation issues when the final destination is HOME and the truck is getting low on energy, then the truck try's to divert us to a charging station instead of directly home

The saved charging location(s) with specific time and max charge SOC stored in our charging profile does not reflect in the navigation systems "Charging" menu, though your "HOME" should be in recent history if you used navigation to steer yourself home.

On the alternative, get out the navigation system, goto the truck CHARGING menu, check to see if you have a charging profile that is set up for a point which is or is very close to your home, review the settings for that location, it has parameters for max SOC adjust the slider down from 100% to your preferences, adjust the time spans begin & end, weekday & weekend, then save.

I've NEVER seen anything in previous locations to date.

I've only had one other location in addition to my HOME, that was my brother in laws house, but his location was just another entry in "SAVED"

I think the history function in this menu is broken

How do i re-save my home so I can set up preferred charge times? Am I totally having a brain fart. It says I need to select a location from “previous” to save it. But with nothing there I can’t

Yup that part of the instruction is flawed due to the failure to retain history.

You can recreate a saved location by:

Driving the truck a few minutes away from your home so that the GPS system tracks a a fresh location.

Park at your regular home charging spot in the driveway or garage.

Plug in the truck and allow the EVSE to begin charging (assuming your battery is low enough, ei your not already at 100%)

After the charging begins, use the trucks Sync screen, go to the Charging menu in settings.

Slide the screen so you can see the the option for locations, begin the process of creating the new location, set the max percentage, then go to the next screen to set the first option weekday start & stop times, then tap weekends to adjust the start & stop times for Saturday and Sunday, then save the configuration.

After a few minutes this configuration should appear on the list of saved locations, make sure it's active (switched) on.

Later look at Ford Pass, you should see it listed in the "Preferred Charge Times" section under the "Saved Locations" selecting that you can rename it or adjust the parameters, note if you make adjustments always revalidate the start and stop times for weekday and weekend. then save the modifications.

Also make sure that the app shows the location selected as "Use preferred charge settings", not "Charge when plugged in"

I had it all working since December and made adjustments in the app and everything you mentioned but after I deleted "home" I just couldnt figure out how to re-save it.
I will give that a shot when I get home tonight. Thanks!
