@boggle or anyone who got a Pro or XLT trim: did you get a letter of certification from the dealer for the federal tax credit? I forgot to ask for one.

My sales rep just called, my truck is at the dealership. Figuring out logistics, I just applied at Parsons FCU 4.0%. Not sure what that might mean to timeline, but 4% is worth waiting a little more in my opinion.

No. I did mention that with the December revision they'd have to file with the IRS for me to be eligible and they seemed familiar with the new rules but never presented me any tax forms. They've sold a few Lightnings and a number of Mach-Es so for their sake I hope they know what they're doing. Guess we'll find out 1/1/24 when I file Form 8936.

My dealer gave me the tax form showing I wasn't getting the credit when I picked mine up.

Corporate created a template form for the dealers to use, this is retained by you for your preparation of your 2023 income tax return come filing season 2024.

Then annual roll up of sales data will occur January 2024 and be sent directly to IRS for cross matching validation of returns as they post immediately, or in an annual programmatic audit program called "Under Reporter Analysis" if the IRS suspects a discrepancy a "CP2000" or "CP2501" will be issued to inquire with you about the matter.

My understanding is that this is not necessary. The MSRP and NA finally assembly info are attached to the VIN, which would be all that’s required for the new credit. Sucks that we have to wait until 2024 but I expect to get the full $7500.

The ZONE MANAGER should be called in to set these folks straight once and for all, it's not the IRS's problem to run a private company

If you have a 50A outlet I'd get a proper 40A charger, costs the same as the mobile charger but isn't capped at 30A.
