My rain sensor works with the values as posted here.

A word of caution to those using Forscan with our trucks. Reset each module after you make a change to it. My rain sensor wasn't working and I couldn't figure out why. I had to pull my 12v last night to remedy FordPass issues and today my sensor worked with no issues. I realized cycling the ignition (as recommended by Forscan) isn't enough. There is a reset function for each module in Forscan that you can click after you have written the new values.
Got my extended license and the beta. Made all the changes. Wipers don’t seem to be working yet. Did everyone on here have to do the module RESET on each module like Benny to make this work? Or is it something that just depends on the user?
Can anyone else confirm that “resetting” each of the modules now won’t cause any unwanted side effects?
Not sure why ForScan on this truck makes me sooo much more nervous than my 2009 F-150!

Haha.

Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!

My guess is you don't HAVE to reset every module, but trying to figure out which needs it and which doesn't is a bigger pain. Resetting modules shouldn't have side effects, at least not like pulling the 12v has been having. Reset each module, then cycle the ignition, and I bet it works. Make sure in the Wipers section in your settings on thw truck screen you now see and have Rain Sensing enabled.

Edit: Also, be sure you have backed up every module in Forscan before you start making any changes. Really easy to undo mistakes if they are backed up.

Reset all 4 modules, cycled ignition, auto wipers is now in menu and selected, but when I put selector on first raindrop setting the wipers continue to run with delay…they never stow.

Did I miss something? Sorry to be a pain you guys!

I had the same issue as you, if you'd like to recreate all the steps I did to get mine working you could remove the negative lead from the 12v battery, wait 10 seconds and reattach (you'll need a 10mm socket/wrench). I didn't do it in hopes of fixing the rain sensor, I did it because FordPass had stopped responding. It fixed the rain sensor issue though. You will lose your radio presets, need to manually close frunk, and possibly (only happens every so often) reconfigure your charging settings.

🤷‍♂️

Ok, I’ll try this.

Strangely enough so disconnected my battery 2 times for extended periods while doing the steering wheel swap…to let the airbag capacitors drain (if that’s even still a thing!) and I didnt loose any presets, charging info, nothing! So weird how our trucks all act so differently!

I just did. Everything looks right….

Double check me… the ONLY changes are the Numbers or Letters shown…leave the x and - alone. Correct??

Correct.

Drive it a couple days, maybe it just takes a little bit?

Will do. Thanks for all your help.

Curious, am I the only one without options here? Just have pro power. Thought I saw another guy with no options also having issues??

The options shouldn't affect Rain Sensor, the options might affect Zone Lighting integration with the OEM Bed Lights install that user was discussing.

That’s right, sorry. So many mods I’m looking at…forgot that it was the bed light install that he was having issues with .
Thanks

All right guys, one more on this.
Took a look at the sensor through my windshield and it looks like this. Is this normal?? I took off the plastic/rubber cover that was protecting the “eye” side but honestly never looked at it. It’s a gummy adhesive surface. When I pulled it back out, it had the same look even when not pressed up against the glass.
Anyone else’s look like this?? Defective?

Thanks again everyone. I don’t think I really care about the rain sensing wipers at this point. I’m more mad at myself on how much time was spent on this with no result!!
