DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

What did the modules and parts cost you for the retrofit? Were you able to source used parts?

I ordered everything new from TascaParts.com

The only used part was the steering wheel buttons which I bought from eBay.

Well you got me second guessing. I went to the dealer but the parts guy couldn't see any additional description/info, just that the lightning has 4 parts for that harness:
NL3Z-15K867-F
NL3Z-15K867-G
NL3Z-15K867-H
NL3Z-15K867-J

Not sure, but if I could provide him with a VIN for a trim with adaptive cruise already on it he might be able to tell me the replacement part. What is within this harness typically, fog lights (well, not the lightning), parking sensors, adaptive cruise sensor?

Likely could be PRO without copilot/parking sensors, PRO/XLT with just parking sensors, XLT high/Lariat with parking sensors, radar(acc), and then the BlueCruise equipped trucks which have two extra sensors on the sides of the bumper.

Yep! I wouldn’t work till I calibrated the radar but after that it comes on if you are on a clearly defined lane and have ACC enabled.

Thanks, this is amazing! I got my parts in today and everything installed ok I think but I got to the part where I change values on the C-CM modules but I don’t see the module available.

Any ideas?

One part during installation I was unsure of was the harness. On each end of the bumper were plugs that weren’t used which you mentioned should be for fog lights that we don’t have. On the other end there was one (maybe 2) unused plugs. I didn’t an obvious place to plug them into so I figured they were for options I didn’t have. Should I have plugged them in somewhere?

I tried taking a few pics. There are 3 on each side. You can see them once you take some trim off at the top of the bumper. One of these pics already has the nuts off.

Are you accidentally loading the original profile for the truck rather than doing a fresh scan?

Thanks for these pics, is it a requirement that the frunk tub comes out or can these be accessed withjust removing that piece of trim?

The frunk has to be removed. I can’t see how to get to the trim without removing the frunk tub.

As far as the forscan profile, I let it rescan each time. I did not load any previous profiles.

Try reseating the pins that were added in the wiring. Could be a loose connection.
