I was told that with the 9.6 kw system it would accept 22kw.I thought the SR battery maxed out at 11 KW on L2?
The 9.6 KW is the total available from ProPower onboard. It is unrelated to charging.I was told that with the 9.6 kw system it would accept 22kw.
Right - the max charge rate of an ER is only 19 KW, SR is 11 KW.That would be 91.6 amps at 240 volt. I think someone mislead you.
The maximum voltage the utility can supply and still be adhering to ANSI specs is 253V.22kW / 80A = 275V
Is that possible in a residential home? I looked up the website, very misleading to promote that it can do up to 22kW.
And Rick is correct, the truck's onboard charger for charging the truck is a separate piece of equipment than the ProPower inverter. I hope it wasn't the dealership that told you that.
I haven't done a full review of thier products yet, but I have seen and used them. I from my limited experience I'd say they are average to slightly below average as far as build quality.@tommolog Do you know anything about this company? (PrimecomTech)
