Well the only thing the BEV team and a case number did for me was offer to pay for a rental truck (which I do appreciate). My service manager called me everyday to give me status saying no ETA on parts, which is the same thing the BEV team told me. Not sure of the value there. Ultimately this last module replacement only took 22 days, which I guess I'm happy about.
greaaaaaaatttttt. 22 days.

Couple updates; 1. still no battery module 2. BEV team has reached out to the dealer asking technician for specific part that was ordered. Gives me not much confidence that the battery module is on the way. Ford needs to step up and ship these to dealers proactively.

I agree, the minute vehicle throws error, Ford should ship part to dealer. According to my dealer, my truck was throwing errors/warnings, two weeks before failure. Of course we don't see these errors. I'm sure I've over simplified this in my brain, but with the amount of data they harvest they could improve this situation.

Got mine back today. 10 weeks at the dealership. Not sure that any of the details will help anyone else. It does appear to be a crapshoot with respect to parts availability, knowledge of parts availability, proficiency/experience of the tech working on the vehicle, and perhaps the phase of the moon.

😳 That is entirely unacceptable @Ford Motor Company 😡

Mine just did it last night / coincidentally right when I got a message that 6.2.0 downloaded successfully. Probably nothing to do with it but was strange. Dealership is coming to pick it up and take it back. We shall see

I will say this - I got a few urgent messages/ from phone and email saying to bring it in for a recall so maybe they saw something pop up on their end. I did call to schedule the recall so hopefully parts have been ordered already and it’s the same thing that popped up on both ends

Update: Battery arrive and was swapped out, now another failed module - ordering next module and waiting prob another two weeks. There has got to be a better way. Saw @Phineas Magliozzi waited 10 weeks! totally unacceptable!

I think I found the problem. We do Construction Management, it looks like you do planning as well, so it seems Ford does a deep scan of our backgrounds, determines who spends the most time staring at construction schedules, and then targets those people with multiple battery module replacements. Yeah, that's gotta be it.

Adding onto the list of affected trucks. 22 Lariat ER, under 4,000 miles.

OTA update 6.2.0 went through and immediately the high voltage battery fault and the powertrain failure warnings came up. Can't see them as being related, but the dealer should be able to tell me more when they get it. Oh well.

On the way to the dealership on a flatbed (11/4). After reading these threads, not super optimistic about a rapid turnaround.

Well folks,
I got the first error.
No noticeable performance issues but got the power train warning and a needs service message.

Taking the lightning in Monday.

Back from dealer after a week. They tested a bunch of charging related things I believe also the battery and saw a bunch of errors reported previously but since the power train thing couldn’t be reproduced, the dealer returned the truck with no official diagnosis.

there isn’t anything noticeable that’s faulty.
Unfortunately, I got the error again today after hooking up to a kayak trailer.
The error went away again the next time I started the truck. Super weird

It's truly "unbelievable" that they don't have everything they need captured during an error event in a modern vehicle. Sounds like ineptitude. And now you've got to live with it possibly stranding you hanging over every trip. Yuck! Sorry!
