Power-Up OTA 6.4.0 - Smart Changes: Refinements to improve connectivity

@rugedraw was checking some things tonight and saw I had a SW download. It does look like it has failed install, but indeed 6.4 has downloaded to my truck. Hoping for an install tomorrow, if it will retry. There is a message at the top of it that says "Ford will make a new update available as soon as possible" - so that is an interesting take.

Ah crap. So it did fail? I was hoping PTS was wrong. Very strange the way it recorded the failure.

It did fail - I replied to the FDRS thread too. I gave it the two finger reboot as well - just to give it a chance to tell me something different. It did not.

Just checked my truck...same message and I have nothing in FDRS.

Oh wow. So it's failing for everyone? I knew there was something strange about the way it failed in @GDN truck when I saw it in PTS.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I thought it was strange to show being downloaded and then the OTA Dashboard saying it was a "Final Failure" before it even had a chance to kick off.

I'm not questioning you; I've seen your post here and you seem to know your stuff. Just curious as to how you know the OTA roll-out was paused?

I received this as well - and it appears to have installed fine - no errors.

I need to look at what this is supposed to have changed though.
