I am beginning to understand why their software does not work. Ford can't even put the same number on the part and the box for the part.According to this website, that 4th character in the prefix is the Design Responsibility Code:
T Heavy Truck Engineering
Z Ford Customer Service Division (Ford), Product Analysis and Publications
Edit: It is interesting that the basic part number (the piece in the middle) says 10C659 on the box but 10C652 on the part. I only glanced at the box my mobile tech had and just saw the -B. Didn't notice the other bits. But it is a later revision as evidenced by the suffix and the SW version.
Imagine how confusing this must be for the dealership Techs and Parts Department. They open a box with part number ML3Z-10C679-B printed on it and pull out a part with number ML3T-10C652-BA printed on it.
Do they have this same problem on the assembly line? What could possibly go wrong?
