Since the BMS replacement I have taken two ~20 mile errand trips. I found LV SOC at 91% and 90% after trip completion. I have never seen LV SOC that high before. The new BMS is definitely resulting in better LV charging and higher SOC.LVB SOC has been maintained better since the new part install.
This is from early this morning before I refreshed the truck at 07:12
Then remote started the truck at 07:30 to begin a 30 minute warm up grid energy draw test.
LVB at 07:42
LVB at 07:50
LVB at 07:55
LVB at 10:00 after a short round of errands of 3 key cycles.
If I drive a longer period of time or a long charging session this will get higher into 80 & 90"s
Let us know if you get more software updates because of this. Mine has not been replaced yet and does not go over 70%. When I left the truck on, it stopped charging LVB at 70%. I have been missing a bunch of updates. I wonder if one of their OTA improvements is looking at your LVB SOC before telling you update is available.Since the BMS replacement I have taken two ~20 mile errand trips. 6.4 was my last one. I still don’t have the SOC number on display. Not sure it was an earlier update I missed or after 6.4. As long as everything runs and I am not stranded, it is all good.I think we're still in a OTA pause at the moment, there has not been much chatter on the various OTA threads, I'm waiting for 6.13 to drop.
Did you do yours yourself? I started thinking that maybe Ford wouldn’t add VINs to the list until they had the update. You might want to ping some of the more knowledgeable members to see if you can report the update or if there is any reason to.I think we're still in a OTA pause at the moment, there has not been much chatter on the various OTA threads, I'm waiting for 6.13 to drop.
Yes I did it myself, I considered asking one of our resident experts with access, but also don't have a concern waiting for the next tire rotation, I'll let them validate that it's done and drop me off the hit list.Did you do yours yourself? I had my BMS sensor replaced by dealer 8 days ago and it's still in my CSP list. Same with BECM module - updated 12/8/23 and still in CSP list. The dash mat CSP did drop off the list at some point though. I've read that the BECM CSP may stay on there a while though.Did you do yours yourself? I went to a basketball game about 20 miles from home last night. After I got home and the HVB finished charging back to 80% my 12V was at 92%. It’s been sitting in the garage now for about 15 hours and it’s currently at 87%. Before I got the BMS replaced I had only been able to get my 12V above 90% maybe 4 times and it usually took more than an hour of driving. It would then drop back into the 60’s within a couple of hours of parking it. Hopefully this has fixed the problem.I took my truck on a 500 mile round trip last weekend and actually saw my 12V go over 90% for the first time in a while. Got home Tuesday and the dealer picked my truck up on Wednesday and installed the new sensor. When I got it back it was at 50%. I plugged it in but limited it to 16A so it took over 5 hours to get the HVB back to 80% but the 12V only went to 51%. I‘ve got a couple of 30 minute trips to make in the next two days so I’ll see where things are after that.
