2024 Lightning availability

I have tried through 4 different dealers in my area (Northern Virginia) to order a 24 Flash since 1 Jan, and all of them are saying that the Flash is already allocated out for the entire MY? All builds are already spoken for, and they are not even available yet on the Ford.com configuration tool?

Don't wait too long if you're considering another trim, they are closing order banks by the end of this month.

CORRECTION: Lightning ordering is on hold, not sure how long it will stay open once ordering resumes, there was an unexpected HOLD on ordering recently.

The truck will handle it. The vehicle always determines the charge rate up the max communicated by the EVSE.

No. That date came from the order status website. The Blend date shows 20231220.

i did not realize the charger is in the truck I really thunked that box on the wall was the charger so thanks for that. It seems that one complaint is speed of charging the truck so that seems to be the reverse of progress with these trucks.

Turns out that nobody really cares about how fast it charges at home as long as its charged by the next morning.

Wonder if they found out a lot of people weren't installing at full power (100 amp breaker is pretty large)...I could only spare a 60 amp breaker where I installed my charge station pro (my moms house). My house only has room for 30 amp, so I just kept my mobile charger from my Tesla and bought an adapter.

This is exactly why they have removed the dual onboard charger. Also the very low adoption, even installation, percentage of the Charge Station Pro. Ford is no longer including the Charge Station Pro with ER trucks in '24.

I never upgraded my 40A breaker from my previous charger. My FCSP is set on 32A. I’ve never needed to charge any faster at home.
