I have seen some screenshots of folks being able to access details about FCSP charging sessions through the FordPass app. Details such as instant power, total energy and other details. I can't seem to find these details. I see charging sessions in FordPass, but the app doesn't allow me to drill down into the session and get more details. What am I doing wrong?

Most people with the FCSP are using a third party product to get that information. Usually it's an Emporia Vue2. Does the information you're seeking look like this?

Wait, I did not realize you could use a third party app to access the FCSP data... I assumed it was all proprietary. Are there instructions somewhere I can follow to set this up?

This is all you get with FP Connected Charging, as noted above I also use Emporia Vue2 to get fine details by the second and minutes with flow rates.

It's not an app accessing FCSP data. It's hardware mounted in your main electrical panel, and you access it through their app.

This is a screenshot from a Reddit post that I was referring to. From the font, it looks like this is inside the FordPass app:

You see that from the HOME screen while the truck is plugged in and you will see active data while the truck is drawing energy.

Ok. That's from the truck. When you're actively charging, or the truck is finished and still plugged in, there is a window on your FordPass screen that gives an estimate when it will be complete. Click on the "details" button. That is where that information is. As soon as you unplug the truck, the information is gone and isn't stored anywhere for future retrieval.

Except I didn't. I tried to duplicate that screen inside FordPass and could not find it, but perhaps I am just being dumb. I will try again when I charge it again.

Do you have all the data sharing approvals ON in the sync screen in your truck??

On the Fordpass home screen at the bottom select VEHICLE. You'll see CHARGING, STATUR, FEATURES & SETTINGS, AND SAFETY & SECURITY. To the right of each is a DOWN ARROW ICON. select the one under CHARGING and your see CHARGE LOGS. You'll see a list of your battery charges from your FCSP. to the right of each listing is a RIGHT ARROW ICON. Tap it and you see the details for each charge event.

Someone said these were not saved but they are, IF you have the sync setting from the truck screen set to allow data to be shared. If set the charge event will show up in your charge logs, but it usually takes 24 hours.

After un plugging, and several hours later the Ford Pass / Vehicle / Charging / Charge Logs will post a record of the last charging session, though the data on that record is not very useful.

You know what I think I might have disabled some of those data sharing items in the truck because I am trying to protect my privacy (yeah, good luck, right?). It is possible I disabled one that provided this information back to the mothership (Ford) and thus the FordPass app. Lemme review those settings. Thank you!

WHILE charging, click on the blue banner at the bottom, and you will see the charging rate (truncated, decimal place is cut off), and the total energy received, and time charging. You can divide energy by time and get the exact rate. Once charging has ended, the display of the rate is gone. Once you unplug, the total energy number is gone. The charging logs show percentage of charge only.
