There is a great possibility the whole NACS adoption thing was a PR stunt by Elon and Farley. There is no guarantee at all that anyone is getting adapters or integrated NACS ports and if it happens there is no timeline sadly.

BTW, these guys will start shipping end of Feb and take returns for 2 weeks which should be enought time to see what Ford will do. If, by some miracle, I do have pants full of monkeys, I can just return it.

I'm sure Ford is going to follow through. The less they say now the less they have to correct later. They'll probably wait til its 2 days away from going completely live. So few people will be fully equipped and ready to use it that it will give Ford/Tesla ability to support that trickle of users who experience issues on day 1.

I decided to take chance and ordered the Supercharger adapter from Lectron. They claimed it will be here by the end of January. We will see.

There is zero possibility of this. While Musk is irresponsible and couldn't give a crap about anything, Farley is the CEO of a public company. You can't make announcements of things that impact the share price, like this clearly would, and then not have it implemented. Ford issued press releases specifying Spring 2024. It isn't a what if, it's a when.

Exactly, there were 2 things combined that pushed me over the edge, the NACS announcement and the 10K price reduction to get the ER Lariat under 80K. Would not have bought without BOTH of those happening.
