I WAS WRONG ... YIPPEE!!!

I haven't received mine yet and I have 2 weeks to return it so all good ... now I just need to figure out what to do with all the monkeys that flew out of butt .. LMAO!
My guess is the 3rd party manufacturers will bring their adapter prices down. Tesla adapters seem to be about 1/2 the price of ours, so that is probably the neighbourhood where they will land. There will still be a market for the owners of EVs that don't get adapters for free.

Traded my 2023 std range XLT this week on a used one owner (dealer registered) extended range 2023 Lariat with 42 miles.

My question is will I miss out on receiving adapter because I sold the XLT this week and/or since I am registered owner of the used Lariat I will qualify for the adapter anyway?

Any thoughts on whether I am in either way or out either way?

Edit: A2Z really stepped up here to correct a partial refund issue and issued a full refund. Although I cancelled the order, i would highly highly recommend them simply for their customer service. I was a little caught off guard Amine called me himself to correct the error and apologize but from running a small business myself, that personal touch is overly appreciated on my end.

Right, I don't even have to mention the quality issues with the Ford POS charger cause it's cheaper to do better for yourself. I'm no Tesla Stan, no plans to own one or anything, but their mobile charger has already been better than the one that was included in my MachE when they used to include it.

Why won't V2's work with this? I just thought the diff between v2 &v3 was max charge rate.
See post 96 in this thread. There are a couple of others as well. Basically, the V2s don’t speak CCS.

Using tesla mobile connectors is way more flexible than ford's options. Having the ability to plug into almost any electrical source with the adapters made it a must have being an early adopter and new to EV's.

Plugged into fair grounds, wall outlets, 220v 15amp circuits that have the small form factor (2 flat horizontal prongs with the form of a normal outlet). Always be charging.

This is great news and all, kind of sucks that it's restricted to >V3. Here's a map of V3 chargers - happy to have access to them, but compared to ALL Tesla superchargers, it is a slight disappointment.

I don't believe that is an accurate map of all v3 locations. Any supercharger site that is 250kW or faster is v3. That map is missing a ton that I personally know of that are 250+.

I requested a refund and did not receive a full refund back. I guess it was a "restocking" fee or something? I don't see anywhere they cut this off an order.
Was it A2Z EV? They got back to me tell me the item would be shipped soon .. I responded "Don't Ship" and requested a refund. If that doesn't work then there's always the CC company.

You are correct - Upon closer inspection, the map is updated 2023, but the data is from 2020.

Use the second link and apply the >250KW filter and it is more accurate. Thanks for that catch.

I ordered the Lectron. I'm not cancelling it unless I have the Ford one in hand. Obviously, I will take the free one as well.

Whatever thoughts anyone would have would just be picked out of their butts.

My thought would be that whatever vehicles you have registered in your Ford.com account would be those that would get it. Add the new one, delete the old one. Done.
