Don't know but if you go to supercharge.info, click the red dot for the location you are interested in. Then click forum and you will see what other users say about the station. Interesting especially for "coming soon" locations. Random example:

Yep, that's my understanding. Supercharge.info allows you to filter for >= 250 kW which is what I do and it always remembers my filters. So I never see V2 on their map.

EDIT: I guess if you wanted to know about a particular V2 station you would filter/show those, then read the forum to see if there is any construction activity going on. You can also show stations that have a permit and are under construction.

The posted level 2 charge rate is basically our household rate. So the DC rate might be the actual write-off costs of the DC equipment.

Tesla maps are very accurate, usually updated within one to two days of a charger coming online. It will all depend on how Ford dow map updating and the nav gets updates for chargers. Tesla cars have it almost immediately.

V3 with magic dock works fine. So, adapter will work too.

Yes, you need to park very close, but it works.

I don't think this will work. I took my Lightning to a V3 charger and the 6' cable was way too short. You won't be able to park like this very often. I wasn't able to do try this (parking in between parking spaces) because other cars were charging. I do want this to work but only for emergencies. I really never charge away from home. I still think there is another shoe going to drop on this. Now a drive thru version would be great. Last summer they did install V4 chargers up the road in Wilsonville OR but the input pads and magic docks are still not operational.

Unfortunately a Tesla app does not save start/stop time of charging session, but based on screenshots timestamp I can say 41% to 60% took 13 minutes, Extended Range F150.

But Tesla Magic Dock limited by 350 amps, so, no charging boost up to 180kW as on Electrify America or similar.

Cost twice as much as my wife's Subaru per mile but still very nice to know I won't be stranded.


Does anyone know how it works in Canada? I have heard EA account does not work in Canada and you have to open an account for the Canadian version. I hope Supercharger use across the border is seamless

Pessimist in me is saying this will result in Tesla sales dropping and once they realize it was not a good idea, they are going to throw a monkey wrench in there.
