My '23 Pro is being Auctioned

I had a '23 Pro damaged by a tree a little over a month ago. It was deemed a total loss. Well now the salvage yard is auctioning it off.

I wish it was parting out, I'd buy the wheels for winter tires.

I find it funny for some reason that it's getting an update while sitting in a salvage yard.

Insurance will have no issues with a 'Rebuilt' titled vehicle, after it is Certified by the owner's state... but, some other types of coverages, like extended warranties and car repair plans will not take it on... otherwise, it's a great way to enter the market into an EV truck without as much expense... I've had several Rebuilt Title vehicles over the years, and enjoyed all of them, and SOLD all of them to other 'new' owners with no problems. Insurance was also no problem. Only the 'Actual Cash Value' will reflect the lower value, of course.

Last I knew you could only get liability insurance on a vehicle with a salvage or rebuilt title in my state.

The frame is not damaged at all, nor is the battery. She drives fine, it's all cosmetic damage, but because the tree hit the top of the cab it'd be a lot of work. Broke both the windshield and the back glass. I have the estimate here, $19K in parts; the frunk liner, headlight, head liner, and tail light alone are $8 Grand.

I also wish it was being parted out. I had the driver's seat fitted with Katzkin leather and would like to put it in my new truck.
