It's the option turned on to have speedo show in mph.

He is also showing trip 1, not this trip.

We don't know the tire type or tire pressure. Nor do we know the percentage of climate use and outside temp use.

I think everything is normal but that the owner hasn't quite grasped the concept yet.
Did not know that about the speed in both units! Thanks!

I'm curious if the American models have the reverse? The setting is found in the instrument cluster settings on our Canadian models.
I recall seeing that, IIRC it's all imperial with exception of a dual readout for KPH, this is nice to have for when we're crossing the North American borders.

Based on some of the conversions posted on this thread, it's not too far off for the temps outside. Anything under 45F gets me pretty dismal mi/kwh numbers regardless of the other factors.

Generally I gst around 1.6 to 1.8 at 70 mph at 65 degrees f Better when it warms up. Tires are at 42 psi. I havent noticed climate controll being that big of a hit.
I'm pretty much at around 1.8 to 1.9 at that speed in the 40s on a straight run up the Garden State Parkway with no slowdowns. Pre-conditioning does absolutely nothing to change the consumption. 37 mile run, consistently consume 15% of the battery. To work, from 90% to 75%; home, from 75% to 60%.

And if those numbers are accurate of a full run on an interstate/parkway/turnpike, a 90% charge on a battery rated for 320 miles of range at 100%, which under "perfect" conditions would get me 288 miles of range (driving to 0% charge), would get me 222 miles of range. It really is not that much better in the summer either. So, a 23% range loss, and my reaction:

Hello everyone. It's not a really cold day. I M alone, no trailer and no extra weight. Since i got my update for my module the situation only degrading.

You think its normal ?

P.S. even if i don't have any MIL issues.

Hey wait why do you have kWh/km and my US 2022 shows miles/kWh? Yours makes a lot more sense! These are completely the opposite. One is energy vs distance and the other is distance vs energy.

I did see that and wondered why Ford would use two different measurements. Everyone has been answering this guy based on their US display and not what he's seeing. It makes a difference. The numbers everyone (us replies) wouldn't even remotely match his truck's numbers. By more than a factor of 10. He's talking 40ish kilometers distance and we're talking a couple of kWh energy.

Part of my calculator tool includes converting between several different ways of showing efficiency, helps to make sure we all speak to the same values:

On a 400km drive last week, driving 60 mph over a mountain pass in snow/slush and wind, I still averaged 35 kWh/100 km. I would say something is worth checking into further there.

There are three options under “General” for how you want efficiency reported.
In Canada, for a very long time now, fuel efficiency has typically been expressed in L/100km (litres used per 100km driven). It is opposite of MPG, but is more precise than a single digit with one decimal place rounded.

Just to make sure we are talking apples and apples here, your precondtioning is setting a departure time, plugged into 240v, correct?

Thanks! mpg only makes sense because I've been exposed to it for so long but for an ev I think energy/mile. I get it now.
