I think the title says it all. Went to charge my truck and found that the plug is stuck in my Charge Station Pro and will not disengage. Short of turning off the circuit breaker and taking a sawzaw to the release bar, how do I get this off without damaging the charger?

My truck is well within warranty. Will Ford pay to replace the cord if it cannot be removed without destroying the plug?

Did you get it out? I honestly don't understand how it's stuck because it's not a tight fit. Did the button on the cable break?

Wild, tried pushing in a little then actuating the button didn't cause it to unhook?

No plans for a hacksaw or forcing the plug out for fear of breaking the plastic case.

Found this on the FMCO web site.

On hold with them now.

Number I gave was right out of the manual, the company that supports it because they made it. You're calling Ford. They likely won't have a clue.

Unfortunately, no one answered at Siemens - and of course - they might be closed for the weekend.

I finally got through to Siemens customer support at the number listed above. They promptly referred me to their Emobility support group - which is 855-950-6339. That group is only open Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM Easter Time.

This is not on the truck. It is on the charge station pro.
Okay. Just trying to visualize the problem.
does the thumb button push on the CCS plug? Or does the button seem jammed?

On the truck side of the plug, i.e. the CCS receptacle, there is an electronically actuated lock as well. This is the manual release I was speaking about, and I had some issues with in initially with my electrical issues when I first got the truck.

By chance is this mounted outside subject dust accumulated under locking lever that could have jammed it, or a Prankster glued it?
