Has anyone else seen their charger get some discoloration on the ports? Looks like it may have overheated?
It is on a tested 50 amp breaker.

Take it to dealer and get it replaced.

Could be burn marks but it's pretty dirty beyond that. Have you tried cleaning it with a damp rag?

Where was it sitting that it is so dirty? Was it in use?

Used outside since 2022, always firmly connected.

Hard to tell from a picture but could it be water damage? It looks rust-coloured.

Definitely overheating, which seems to be a problem with the Mobile Power Cord based on many other posts. They don't seem to be very robust if used frequently.

Made by Webasto and if you look at the reviews of the same device on Amazon (not Branded FORD) the Webasto Go Mobile Charger, you will see many reviews that give it poor marks for failures.

Some people have had them completely melt down! Could be a fire hazard.

Ford has a 3 year warranty on them, get a new one, but only use it for emergencies.
You can buy a 30A/32A EVSE pretty cheap, or move up to 40A which could be plugged into a 14-50R or 6-50R (with an adaapter) outlet.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I will return it to Ford and just use it as a backup.

Looks like arcing from moisture, when you get a new one mount it inside or a least keep that plug end pointed down. When the unit heats then cools it's probably drawing in moisture.
