If that is the case it still could easily workout depending on your ratio of home electricity usage vs EV charging. Each person would have to do the calculations. I avg roughly 650kwh in Truck charging a month and 550kwh in home usage charging. In my case it would still be beneficial if my 5-minute math is correct.The base rate is high, at 16.8c/kWh. Sure, you get free charging from 7 pm to 12:59 pm, but with my current provider, I get 12.5c/kWh for all energy. It sounds good, but it's really more expensive for me.
