2024's Lightnings cannot set charge location time etc FIX 24B48

My dealer is saying this is to resolve issues with saving charge locations and charge levels. The vehicle must go into the dealership for this fix.

I contacted my local Ford dealership service manager and he looked into the CSP. I think this is the text from it:

"In some of the affected vehicles, customers may not be able to save their vehicle’s charge locations and charging times. Customers can still plug the vehicle in and charge normally, but the customer cannot schedule a charging location and time because the charging location and time cannot be saved."

I'm having the same issue with my 2022 ER Lariat, although my 2023 ER Lariat is charging when scheduled. Weird

I checked and the CSP doesn't show up for me, I wonder how they determined who needs it.

My dealer checked on holds and said that they can install this one. Goes in next Monday (9/9)

My 2024 has this CSP and truck does not save charging locations. I’m not going to dealer for this. I’ll wait for an OTA. I just have my emporia on a set time to charge from 12am to whatever I need to not go over 90%. Stupid I have to open an app and change the stop time based on how much I want to charge, but I’m not wasting my time going to dealer for them to keep the truck for who knows how long to update a module for 5 mins.

I love how @Ford Motor Company never responded to the know issue I have but responded to others issues. Maybe it was Ford has the fix but you have to go to dealer with the new CSP
Powertrain control module software update
Campaign# 24B48 which fixes the known issue of not setting charge location but have to go to dealer for the fix. I wonder what it’s not an OTA never mind we know why. time when they send them out
Dealer claims they can’t send mobile tech for this repair.

They whole point of the mobile repairs was for software updates so you don’t have to go to dealer

Just got this update via Ford Mobile came to my work

Just got the CSP update via Ford Mobile when I get home I will charge to see if I can add the target because supposedly this update fixes it

anyone who is having the target charge issue this indeed fixes the problem you must charge wherever you want just for a few minutes like it should’ve always been unplugged. Give it a minute and FordPass will then allow you to set your target. @Ford Motor Company it worked . Hopefully anyone who has a dealer that does mobile it took maybe 20 minute software update from the tech.
