Newb question - do these apps appear for us cheapskates with the 12" screen? I can't seem to find them. Should I stop looking?

It monitors how well you sing for 3 days before it shows up in the Entertainment tab.

This is not a feature that should have been high on the backlog.... just why put time into this when the app is missing more important features. Like, are the doors locked, widows open, walk up unlock / away lock, view cameras, data, data, data. Nope, but lets add Karaoke.

Farley uses this as his daily driver.... how can he be happy with this UI and App in today's world.

I don't think there are any plans to make the "entertainment" apps like youtube, sketch, or Karaoke available to us, which I'm honestly fine with. I've found an iPad to be a great investment, I have a case for it that allows it to sit in front of my 12" screen easily. Bluetooth connected to my stereo and hot spotted to my phone. I have far more entertainment options while charging or waiting this way. While I'm driving, the case is also a stand so I can move it to the console lid and the kids can keep watching while I drive on.

I checked this morning and I don't have any new updates. The last update I had was a couple weeks ago regarding driver assistance. Are updates randomly selected for vehicles or how to check for new updates?

I got a new update today that gave me the app. I am pretty sure they push this out without the app attached. the newer update gave it to me within a minute of loading the apps . Probably why 10.1.1 update came the next day. I’m pretty sure Ford has Tesla plants working their OTA updates going ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha every time they send one.

Does anyone know if there are functional changes between Charge Assist and Public Charging beyond being able to search while driving?

Farley uses this as his daily driver.... how can he be happy with this UI and App in today's world.

Not by choice he doesn't lol.

Also the guy predates seatbelts being mandated in American cars by half a decade so I imagine he's okay with this 2010-level tech. Wild that my 2009 iPhone 3GS was faster to navigate than a 2024 15" screen in a $117k truck.

Yep,karaoke is important,geez! Had my truck for 14 months,had maybe 3 OTA updates but Ford Considers this important??
I have a 2024 VW ID.4, I should suggest this to them…

I got the update today on my XLT with the smaller screen (SYNC 4).

Driving home from work and decided to see if I had a new update. Said it was downloading checked when I got home it said it was still downloading so I went and took a poop and logged into the app and it has updated and it did while the car was off

Got it today too. Something I never knew I wanted (and still don’t) at least they did something about DCFC charging locations.

What did you get this on? You don't show to have a Lightning. Please update your vehicles if you do have one.

The time you have set is only for updates that need to inhibit the truck and can't be installed while driving. Most of Ford updates start the download after you start the truck, then they install whenever the download is complete, even if that is after you are done driving.
