Thanks! Anything worth $50 to update?
Not sure, but the powertrain updates that were on hold forever are there. Not sure what improvements are there. However, that many updates I would say are worth $50.

Not sure, but the powertrain updates that were on hold forever are there. Not sure what improvements are there. However, that many updates I would say are worth $50.
Doing all these updates should make the daily SOBDM and SOBDMC DTCs that were happening for most people stop, and the limitations on the power transfer issues would go away.

Bear in mind that other updates may immediately pop up once these are started.

Do you know which power up version includes it? And will ford still send an OTA if I have some of the module updates done with FDRS but not all?
I think it's BCM 24.6.R? Not exactly sure from memory.

Yes doing updates with FDRS means you don't have to wait for OTAs. The BCM is an exception since it can no longer be done with FDRS with non dealer FDRS credentials. You'll still get OTAs as new stuff is released.

Is that locked BCM update part of an OTA campaign? My dealer won’t do it so I’m hoping it becomes available at some point.
Not that I'm aware of.....why won't they do it? Or is it they want to get paid to do it.......?

EDIT...if it's going out as an OTA that's news to me...but okay.

It is for the F150 & Lightnings for sure. Just double-checked and OTA BCM 24.R.6 updated the strat to -AAM which is what I have on mine after updating with FDRS. I don't think I've seen it reported on the Mach E forum yet.

Hi. Just for clarity. Is there a new BCM update that makes it worth having the dealer do it?
It will enable walk-away locking for the EV's.
