How can I display % of charge remaining at destination.

After a year owning my Lightning I still can’t figure out how to display estimated battery charge remaining at a destination like our Tesla displays.

Is there a way to display this on a Lightning when either using Ford Nav or Apple CarPlay Apple Maps or Google map?

The old trip planner {Fordpass APP} would give you the SOC's at waypoints and terminus, -but not on screen (instrument or center)-.

I believe I recall seeing that the Google maps enhancement coming to us in update 10.1.0 / 10.1.1 might show this tibbit.

Edit to correct my missed recollection of how we can see SOC's along a trip plan.

Yes. I have this with Apple CarPlay. It shows the projected battery % on the center screen when navigating.

I did have to set up the Lightning to talk with phone in the CarPlay app on the phone. Don't recall the exact steps.

You can build a route in the nav system and it should should estimated charge.

I'm out on a local trip, but used Ford Navigation to plan a trip to New England Dragway, after the route is computed you can select DETAILS which shows the ending SOC at destination.
But after starting the route guidance I no longer see this projection.
To see it again, pull up Trip overview / Details to review projections in progress.

This is non towing projection.

ABRP also shows estimated charge at way points and end, but the plan usually has me arriving at 10% charge which is not what I usually want.

You can tune that value in your default ABRP vehicle profile, then the planner will schedule another charge or increased the stopping SOC % at last charger along the route to ensure you arrive with x%

While I am really happy that CarPlay added this feature I believe it took away the ETA when you are in route i.e. after you hit go. It was either that or how long it was going to take to get to the destination hard to remember now.

I have found the CarPlay and Apple Maps is off about 1% SOC so if you are practicing to be the next Kyle Conner, plan ahead or you too will be found on the side of the road dead of charge.

I believe in the CarPlay settings of Maps that can be adjusted it you would rather have ETA. I will double check on my trip home and update.

I have found that it is pretty good at adjusting during your trip depending on your driving but mine does seem to estimate a lower arrival state of charge when you start your trip and then adjust upwards during the trip.

If your trip doesn't include any charge stops, the ending % is displayed on the instrument panel. If it does include charge stops, then the end of trip SOC is shown by tapping on the top bar in Navigation, and looking at the bottom of the list.

I think it used to just show the minutes based on traffic and such but now it just shows a time I think? It’s hard to remember now that I have been using it this way for a while!
