Should I buy Fleet 2024 Pro ER or 2024 Flash?

Typical day drive is 20-30 miles., We also drive 215 miles 2-3 times per month, sometimes in sub zero temps.

Then you should have no problem with the single 48 amp OBC, that opens up the opportunity to go Flash in my opinion.

I would go with the flash, the added feature are worth it. I do love the big screen on my truck.

Hi All,

I could use your input to help deciding between these 3 options. I have to say I'm attracted to the Pro because I prefer knobs over a touch screen for heating/cooling, etc. I will tow building materials over one season but then would probably not have much of a need for towing over the long term. The main features I need are the ER battery and Pro power. Not sure if I'd benefit from having a dual on board charger, but is that nicer to have than the options in number 2 below? Are the prices listed good or should I try to negotiate more? The prices include taxes and fees and take into consideration any rebates, discounts and the EV tax credit.

• Dual on board charger

2. Fleet 2024 Pro ER for $59k out the door

• Single charger
• Tow Technology package
• Pro power onboard 9.6 kw

3. 2024 Flash for about the same price, still waiting on final numbers.

Well, I just happen to be the person that purchased a pro in May 24 and upgraded to a Flash in September.

Both needed to have the tow package and pro power. Both have bed liner, tailgate
Step.

The only practical non advantage of the dual charge pro is the ability to charge from driver or passenger side. Still wish the pro would have had it standard as it had dual charge doors, until you figured out all show and no go. Big mistake in my opinion. Like they designed it that way and needed to cut corners for price.

Flash er battery , more horsepower. Blue cruise, with adaptive cruise control.
Truthfully I do like the smaller screen of the pro, but that’s about it. The flash is the way to go. Especially if you get a 72k flash for the price you’re describing.

The faux door on the right has NEVER had a charging port, the DUAL refer to the onboard charge controllers in early ER's vs MY24+

If the prices are the same the Flash (big screen and all) is the better buy - that said any Flash that cheap is likely missing the 9.6 Propower which can be a deal breaker - as another poster mentioned the MSRP gap is $10k.

Gov’t rebates also play into it, for us a Pro gets $9k vs Flash at $5k so gap gets even bigger.

I just got the paperwork for the Flash. I checked the window sticker and confirmed that it has the pro power 9.6. They are offering $60k out the door including all taxes and fees, zero down and 75 months financing at 0% APR. Sounds like I should go for it?

IMHO, you will NEVER need 80 amp charging - spending money on an option you don't need..
Max Tow / Pro Power is good to have if you tow or need the electric power..
Tow tech used to be required to get the brake controller. Not sure that is still the case. You will want the brake controller if you tow..

Everything else in my book is driver preference.

I would say so.

A few others here have reported better deals on a Flash but not by a huge amount. I think $58 or so was doable a month or so ago. I think one guy got his for $55, but only the one iirc.

Imo if you have them as low as they will go then $2k to go flash over a minimally equipped pro is a very good buy.

I don't remember, did you get X-Plan, they have some great discounts right now. Although if I run the numbers I don't think it's really any better than you have going

$60 with zero looks okay, best we can get fleet wise on an ER PRO is $74 cda / $52 USD cash. They have a Flash that’s been sitting for $72 cda / $51 usd.

The zero percent is worth about $7,500.

For us the Flash MSRP puts it outside rebate range where Pro gets $9k off above. If they both qualified I’d be buying the Flash.

On single vs dual, there are days I’d like more than 9kw however it hasn’t been enough to bother getting FCSP installed. I believe the single can still do 11.5kw? Just wire in a 48 amp (60 circuit) and you should be happy.

Also on the Pro, the Tow Tech Package includes the 360° cameras. Those are a big deal to alot of owners.
