Folks - I am puzzled that my lane centering function tends to place the truck slightly to the right of center (i.e., closer to the right side of the lane than to the left side). I thought it was just the normal parallax - a result of my eyes being on the left side of the truck. Or maybe I’d just gotten used to driving off-center to the left for 50 years. But I’ve asked front seat passengers for their impressions and they match mine. Is this a thing? Do others have the same experience? If it is real, is there a way to adjust? Thank you for your thoughts.

I assume your truck is on the IPMA software it came with from factory? The newer software improves all driver assist functions significantly. Unfortunately, it is not being sent out OTA. It can be only be installed via FDRS.

Thanks. That’s probably it. It’s time to take the truck in for that sort of upgrade.

I hope your service manager is accomodating, not many are.

I’ve bought a series of expensive vehicles from them at year end, helping them make annual quotas. So far, they’ve been just fine with me.

Good for you, while the rest of us don't get this without paying hourly rates.

You should have the IPMA CSP for your truck. That can get them to update the IPMA for free.
@Tom Jensen This is a good idea. Tell your service advisor the front parking sensors go off for no reason. There is a TSB out for that that would require the dealer to update the IPMA.

I still haven't gotten 24B56 done for this issue, I haven't experienced any problems, I guess a little white lie wouldn't hurt to push things along.

No need to lie. Just go to the dealership and tell them you want the CSP done. Ford pays for it.

With some Forscan changes you can have the newest version of BlueCruise. I can't believe Ford doesn't just update BlueCruise via CSP. The earliest trucks BlueCruise subscriptions are going to start expiring in a few months. I wasn't going to pay for BlueCruise when mine expired but after the update I'm planning on subscribing. I use it all the time.
