I wonder if there is an approval / consent switch off on your connected service on the Sync screen?
Only switch off is access to my phone contacts. I think it is because I am on the far left edge of the continent ...
(it may eventually come out this far ... 😁 )

Ya, I charged over night, went to bed before the charge session started. In the morning,
Pisses Me Off Ford Pass App No Longer Shows The kW Used To Charge The Lightning, By The Time I Check It In The Morning. That Screen With The Rate, Time Duration, Miles Added, And Kw Used, Does Not Even Show Under The Energy Tab, AND Under Charge History It Has One From 10 Days Ago, But NOT From 5 Hours Ago,,,The kWh Added For This Session Is A "Best Guess", Subtracting My Usual Overnight Usage (Electric Meter)(6 KwH) From The Morning PG&E Reading(48 kWh), I Really Need To Get A Power Monitor Installed For At Least This Circuit.
Note: after watching that Tesla Cold charge video above, I'm coming to the conclusion that the Lightning Display information SUCKS, we get so little info from this vehicle....
I just left a tesla SC and all the info is in my history. and I left there only 30 minutes ago. my history both public and home charging has everything done since November 6th. Don't know why yours is taking so long.

I always get the"Charge Complete" message with the details on the distance and energy added and the duration it was plugged in. The Charge History record shows up only after I unplug it.

Exception - in some locations, I do not have good WIFI or cellular coverage. It is dicey when this happens since the truck simply can't get the info to FordPass. I always get the Charge History record eventually but the active charge session doesn't work well.

Oh just wait… occasionally, after a software update, strange things happen!

That is it. I always leave the truck plugged in so I can use grid power to prep for next trip. I just confirmed I must cycle the plug when I want the historical data.

Glad you figured it out, do you also see insights data?

Apparently no. These are the "insights"??

Driving insights

The app records details about each trip, such as miles traveled, time spent driving, and driving behavior. This information can help you understand and improve your driving habits.

I see a delay of up to 10 minutes after charging before the latest charge session arrives at my tablet in FordPass charging history via wifi. Some days are slower than others.

Today, it took 10 or 15 minutes after firing up FordPass before it talked to my truck and told me where it was parked. Not sure what was going on, but FordPass went dark for a few minutes - dark screen. Maybe the tablet was updating and preoccupied?

My beef: Last night I set the truck to charge to 80% from a 1am starting time when my rates are lower.

This morning after I unplugged the truck and moved it to the street (without noticing the charge level - early morning pre-coffee). I checked FordPass as I drank my coffee and it showed the same charge level as the night before, not 80%. Dang.

However, FordPass congratulated me and said that a software update had been installed successfully - so now it seems I can do Karaoke in my truck? Whoopie, can't wait (not).

Karaoke is not at all as useful to me as the 80% charge I wanted.

Hoping it was a communications delay I went to the truck and turned it on and verified it is not at 80%. Double dang.

The update overrode the charging.
Never saw that before.
In the past the update would get deferred, not the charging.

So I had to start to charge again, at a slightly higher cost per kWh. Triple dang.

The estimate of when it would finish changed during charging, pushed back about 10 minutes from the original estimate by the end of the charging.

After it finished, it took a good 10 minutes before the charge detaials showed up in charge history in FordPass.

I was never able to get the FCSP to tell FordPass anything, the set-up app always error-ed out at the last step, maybe if the set-up had been a success, I would have had access to the info sooner?

In case a charge session goes missing or doesn't register or show up in FordPass, I always keep a written record on a piece of paper as best I can.

I had one not show up when I had done two sessions in one day.
The one that went missing was a very short one that I had to stop to run an errand, maybe 10 minutes at the most.
Maybe there is a minimum kWh added threshold before it makes it to history - from the battery level on the dash I was able to figure out it was 4kWhs.

If Ford told us more about the software, we'd have a better idea about these peculiarities.

But for now, it will remain unexplained.

I had a similar situation the night before last I plug in my truck every night to charge it to 85% GOM. I have it set to charge between 12 AM and 4 AM due to the lower rates. When I jumped in the truck yesterday, I didn’t really pay attention but when I got to work, I was down well below what I should’ve been so I assumed it did not charge!
That really worried me because the last time that happened was when the critter chewed through my wiring or whatever happened!
When I got home, I plugged in the truck and told FordPass to start the charge and it’s started-whew.

Last night it charged without issue so I don’t know what the deal was? I updated my truck With FDRS a week or two agoand there are no current updates available so it was not any software download like yours??

LOL .... assumed you're using the Ford FCSP as your EVSE, if you aren't these instruction won't be useful to you, but maybe other watching from the sidelines can learn something....

In the past the update would get deferred, not the charging.
I've had a recent update (not the most recent one) interfere with my charging session in process.
The session paused
The update applied
The charging session did NOT resume.
I was lucky to be awake (middle of the day, a nap might have been involved)
Early evening I looked at FP, expecting the session to be done, it was not, click START charging it resumed the charging session, then I unplugged.

Obviously for folks observing TOU schedules this could be inconvenient to say the least to wake up randomly to baby sit your trucks charging activities.
