Yes this is what happened to me exactly. My front camera would not popup when close to objects, Dealer said I didn't have the option on my truck. I messaged @Ford Motor Company and was told to check with my dealer. Thanks to this forum and all the helpful people I was able to use Forscan to correct the front camera not popping up. This was a really big deal for me so thanks to @Livnitup for helping me get Forscan going and @FordTough98198 for linking me to this Tremor thread with the change.

Man, and this thread is why companies don't put real people on internet forums.

If I am to believe this thread Ford is dropping interaction with both the ICE F150 forums AND the other lightning forum. Not only that they are increasing their presence on this forum, to someone with actual technical insight.

It may not be perfect, but dang, it's still a big promise.

Folks need to remember that whomever is responding to the forum isn't going to a social media person, which is what we want! But if folks trest them like this thread, it's going to be short lived.

Thank you @Ford Motor Company , it is great to see more involvement with this forum. It very much makes (some of us) feel more appreciated as owners.

If the EV advisor is actually knowledgeable, it'll be a great resource. If it's just going to be some interns that are told to add fluff, that'll be extremely disappointing. I'm very interested to see what Ford dishes up.

A little concerned about the disclaimer:
If you are an owner and have an inquiry for Ford, including inquiries related to a quality or safety issue, please contact your local dealership or Ford directly.

Most issues on here are from owners and especially quality/safety related so likely will still get the "send me your VIN and dealer" response.

But maybe they can answer order and buying questions for prospective customers.

Well I've been just as critical as most anyone about the "Ford" presence on the forum. So I welcome someone that will interact and offer some assistance other than the canned response. Hoping for some good interaction.

Would be interesting to know the relationship or agreement with the forum owners. They are no small dog either, owning a lot of these forums similar to Vertical Scope. Vertical Scope identifies themselves and you can find the various forums they own, but haven't dug too hard here.

I have always tried to be fair about my experiences with Ford and my Lightning. I try to compliment when I think they deserve it, I also call them out when necessary! I personally welcome what I hope will be a good ambassador for Lightning owners forum members and FMC!

My experience with the BEV team has been beyond my expectations so hopefully the presence on the forum will be as well!
