Lightning Charged to 345 miles and 100%.

On my last charge to 100% with my Ford Charging Pro station, I was surprised to see the range at 345 miles. Outside temp was 65deg. Mind that my Lightning 22 Lariat, is 6 months short of turning 3 years old and 42000 miles on the odometer. Has anyone experienced anything similar in their range after charging their trucks to 100% with L2 charger. I took my truck to a short drive to my local Costco, (18 miles) round trip, and came home to 98% and 318 miles of range. The average consumption at 2.2 m per kw and a short interstate run of about 5 miles at 75mph. Did we had something more done to the HVB software on our last Powertrain update?
Is anyone else seen this?

Yeah, there have been a few folks around here who have experienced it. It seems to be a combination of Ford being optimistic with their Guess-O-Meter and previous driving that had high mi/kwh numbers.

It's not range, it's expected range and if it says "345" it's possibly a random number generator.

2.2 miles per KW multiplied by 131 KW of usable battery equals 288.2 miles of range.

those numbers are all what truck is guessing. Not much more valid than your guess.

Battery health x 131 KWh x expected consumption rate (including elevation change, wind, ...) - 10 (last 10 miles can get freaky)

65° outside temp has the algorithm projecting minimal heat & AC demands, it'll be awhile before I'm seeing those temps, it could be a tweaking of the GOM logic happened, what is your most recent OTA version?

I get all the numbers. I can do the math. Seriously……I have done these charges for years now, even from day one when I got the truck from the dealer. The best I could do was 335 miles. 2 1/2 years later, and now is 345!!
Just a random number!!
I will be looking into my next 100% charge with L2 station at my home.
I will let you know of what transpires.
Now I am interested even more.

Jan 24th. Latest update. I don’t think that was that did anything to the powertrain other than BC 1.4.
