Failure to receive an update is not the same as failure to install an update.

There are many reports of owners not being offered anything, that is the root concern of the OP.

I'm just going to offer this here. I won't say it fixed my issue, and I was told it doesn't make a difference, however it strongly correlated to me getting a whole bunch of updates.

Leave it running for a few hours, someplace with good cell coverage. Don't worry, it uses a tiny bit of power and it can't be driven without the key.

Worth trying once a month or so a day seeing what happens.

I have the same question...but have had my truck way less time. Would it be hard to put a last checked date stamp in the sync settings? Then we would know the truck is working fine and we are just waiting for deployments to reach us...

ā€¢ Added new Onboard Scales, and Smart Hitch apps for eligible vehicles.

ā€¢ Moved the Sketch app into the ā€œEntertainmentā€ page so itā€™s easier to find.

Interesting thing I learned from this thread is I must have 6.14 as sketch is in entertainment but I don't have karaoke... Also not a fan of the scales app... I'll have to press the feedback button to make myself feel better rather than venting online. :)

Oh that is weird.
A communications issue between the servers and the truck/apps perhaps?

Are they not getting any mailed and/or emailed CSP notices that require the dealership to install, either?

The parking one I got 2 snail mails and 1 email.

I have a 2023 Pro with towing stuff, so I probably get different updates then different trim levels do.

Algorithm that controls automatic deployment is off-kilter

I can't carry a tune so not even going to try that one...give me a steering wheel drum set instead!
No Karaoke for the Pro & & XLT trims, y'all just get the underlying easter eggs and minor improvements in that release.

Palantir databases have already linked your Forum account to your VIN for Ford. Anytime you make a negative comment about the company or it's products, thirty days are added to the 'nextupdate' variable associated with your VIN. Develop a more positive attitude if you want an update.

All that said, be careful what you wish for.

I am still highly anticipating the overpromised and under delivered blues clues 1.4 that we were going to get at the end of the year ~circa 2028.
I have a 21 Job 1 MME. BC 1.3 was announced in sometime in fall of ā€˜23(?). It started to drop, then stopped. Lots of communication missteps and/or uncertainty.

But it finally arrived over the weekend.

Not *soon but fortunately not *never either. Iā€™d rather it be late and right than rushed and wrong/not safe.

Which is why I prefer Ford to say "hey we're still working on 1.4 for the Lightning, there are some quirks we're trying to work out. Its not ready yet, and we're aiming to have it available by XX date."

I have my truck connected to wifi in my driveway, I donā€™t check for OTA, I donā€™t know what OTA I have. All I care about is, when I get in and push the start button and put it in gear it goes. Is there something wrong with me?

That was the complaint, more or less, in the MME forum. A better and more realistic explanation.

my take away from 3.5 years is itā€™s complicated, they arenā€™t too certain themselves and are still leaning how to be a software delivery business on top of car manufacturer.
