8” cluster to 12” cluster swap

I wonder if it’s possible, and if so, what would need to be done to swap the 8” gauge cluster for the 12” all digital one.

I would wait until the aftermarket catches up. I'm not saying it isn't possible to do with factory parts, but its going to be involved and expensive... screen, harness, trim pieces, hardware, etc.

Then it would probably need a programming with Forscan of some sort.

It is possible. I have done it. Plus a few other things. Wireless charger. Console shifter, 12 inch Upgrade.
The cluster unfortunately requires the top dash o be replaced. Could be just the driver side IF there is a dash material that matches what you have in your truck. For an XL like mine I had to do the entire dash. The opening is smaller for the Digital cluster versus the 4" and 8" cluster.

Out of curiosity, how did you program the odometer?
I'm having issues writing the correct values. The format seems to have changed since the previous generation.

Yeah, for all this effort and money, just have the factory build it for you with everything you want. Plus you get vented seats, and all the other goodies that come with a lariat.

Can you provide more info on the cluster swap and wireless charging add-on?

At a minimum id love to add wireless charging, but am curious to see the amount of work involved in upgrading the cluster on my STX.
