Help identifying this push button?

So I bought my truck used and have been driving it for 2 weeks now. I just paid attention to that little button installed at the bottom of the dashboard below the steering wheel and right above the pedals.
What is it? Looks like an aftermarket install but I can't figure out for what?

Its not red, that means you can push it and see what happens

Or just trace the cable to whatever it's connected to, the tape wrapped harness looks far from oem

There have been various threads on here about GPS trackers installed by dealerships to recover vehicles if they are stolen. Most seem to interface with the OBD port. My guess is yours is something similar. Follow that cable and see if it goes to some other random looking box or towards your OBD.

I'll check it tonight. But only my OBDLinkCX is connected to my port.

It is an EV certified truck. Was sold new by the same dealership. I'll check the original window sticker and see if it mentions dealer installed options.

Some say that Karr system is a GPS tracker, some say it is just an alarm? All i know is i didn't pay for that install. So I guess it was by the original owner. I might give the company a call with my VIN to verify if it is active or not.

You guys are being silly.

Photon torpedoes are the only thing that makes any lane the fast lane.
And XLT's and Pros would be okay not having adaptive cruise.

Dealer installed anti theft. Get it removed it is garbage and will leave you stranded

That's the button for the NOS system. Dealer probably installed it when the truck was in for an oil change.
