  1. Your 'Connected' Car May Be Transmitting Your Driving Data to Insurance Companies

Confirmed that the "Preferred Times" and "Departure Time" tiles have disappeared from my FordPass app by making this change. Guess I'll be turning it back on (my personal choice as I use the functionality).
  2. Power-Up OTA 6.4.0 - Smart Changes: Refinements to improve connectivity

Also received 6.4.0 yesterday (forgot to check my app until this morning, and it doesn't send me notifications and nothing popped up on the truck's screen when I ran an errand this morning). I didn't notice a change in anything, but I was on the way to a doctor's appt., so was focused on...
  3. Priority Update: 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE (re-release of 6.2.0)

I got 6.2.0 (the re-release) today upon arriving home after going out to get dinner. Thankfully, this forum prepared me for the "mirrors not folding" issue, got that sorted. :) This is my fourth (?) update in as many weeks...nice that things are rolling out. Looking forward to getting that SOC...
  4. Rivian R2 Reveal w/ R3 and R3X Surprises! $45K, 0-60 >3 seconds, 300+ miles range, NACS port, 4695 batteries

Also reserved an R2 after my wife saw it. This would be the perfect accompaniment to our Lightning. Used to have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, which was a blast to drive, but uncomfortable and noisy. This scratches that "Jeep itch" (in my opinion), while letting us retain the Lightning for hauling, road...
  5. NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

For those with the A2Z adapter, is this the one in question? https://a2zevshop.com/products/nacs-ccs1?variant=43186507579592 Do you feel it's worthwhile? My order from Ford is targeted for May, but we have some weekend trips planned that would be well-suited to using the Tesla network if it's...
  6. NACS adapter is now on Ford parts website (but can't be ordered yet)

My biggest concern is that if we need an OTA update in our trucks to use the adapter and the Tesla network. Given that I took delivery of my truck at the end of October 2023 and have yet to receive any of the major updates, I'm a little concerned about being "hamstrung" without the update.
  7. NACS adapter is now on Ford parts website (but can't be ordered yet)

Would like to see someone from this forum get the update...
  8. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

Yeah, I'm noticing the "build a new station nearby but don't replace the old one" trend when I look at the Tesla charger map. Interesting. For those gaps, there are decent EA stations I could use.
  9. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

Thanks for all the clarification on Tesla DCFC version numbers. I'm hoping that one of the places we road trip to frequently (i.e. annually or sometimes twice a year) will get upgraded from 150kW chargers to 250kW before our next planned trip there in June. :)
  10. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

Ah, thank you. I can't remember that far back. :) Also found it in today's press-release update (if I'd bothered to read it all the way through): "The Fast Charging Adapter will provide Ford F-150 Lightning, and Mustang Mach-E owners access to Tesla’s V3 and above Superchargers. Ford will start...
  11. Ford to Offer Complimentary Tesla Supercharger Adapter to Eligible Lightning Owners (1/31/24 Update)

I'm still confused (doesn't take much these days)...how do we know that only V3/4 chargers will be usable by us? V2 at 150kW is still more throughput than a lot of other charging stations...
  12. CSP-23B70 Certain 2022-23 F-150 Lightnings - BMS Sensor Replacement

USPS Informed Delivery says my CSP letter is in the mail today; I'll call to schedule service when I have it in-hand. Curious to see how long it takes my dealer to get...they sell a fair number of Lightnings, so I'm hoping it'll be quick...
  13. Ford Reduces F-150 Lightning Production to Match Customer Demand

I agree completely, three different use cases, for sure. I'm more lamenting the fact that Ford cutting production potentially impacts overall EV adoption and the ramifications therein. :)
  14. Ford Reduces F-150 Lightning Production to Match Customer Demand

So frustrating to see them cutting production, when so many other (*cough* European and Asian *cough*) companies are ramping up EV production. Demand in general for EVs is high, Ford just has a very specific/targeted product in the Lighting. We bought our Lightning instead of a Rivian R1S due...
  15. Software Updates

PFM...haven't heard that one in a while. Thanks for the flashback to my grunt past... :D
  16. Ice, not ICE; not nice.

Also from Oregon, central Willamette Valley here, so I feel your ice pain. However, we park in our garage, and I'm so grateful that we do. Saved a lot of issues when I had to take make a legitimate emergency run out yesterday in this nonsense.
  17. Power failure...leave Lightning plugged in?

This is the way! :D Our current house isn't worth the expense, but when we move (hopefully in the next year or two) to our permanent home (i.e. prepping for retirement) I'm definitely having the FCSP, solar and perhaps an additional battery backup solution installed. :D
