Whatever thoughts anyone would have would just be picked out of their butts.

My thought would be that whatever vehicles you have registered in your Ford.com account would be those that would get it. Add the new one, delete the old one. Done.

My guess is it is just through your ford account. You just log in, choose the VIN of your truck, specify/confirm the address to ship it to.

People who refuse to have a ford account maybe they will have an alternate way to handle it, like, provide exact mileage of the truck that the VIN is for, to confirm you are the current owner.

My guess is it is just through your ford account. You just log in, choose the VIN of your truck, specify/confirm the address to ship it to.

People who refuse to have a ford account maybe they will have an alternate way to handle it, like, provide exact mileage of the truck that the VIN is for, to confirm you are the current owner.
There is no guessing. Ford has already said that it will be with FordPass, and Plug and Charge.

V3 charger cable length is only 6.5ft and that adptor pictured in earliler posts will be worthless if you can't get close enough to the charger. V4's are plenty long enough (9.5ft). If we are only getting access to V4's with longer length.... well that's a horse of a different color. Read not nearly enough to help us. As stated in earlier posts we won't be able to use V2's (not that we'd want to) so the congestion on V4's will be huge.

Was it A2Z EV? They got back to me tell me the item would be shipped soon .. I responded "Don't Ship" and requested a refund. If that doesn't work then there's always the CC company.
Same here. They wanted a restocking fee. I said no. The item hasnt even been boxed up, let alone manufactured, and there is no policy on their site regarding a restocking fee.

Edit: A2Z made it right. If you have any issues with A2Z, just call them and explain. They will be more than happy to help. Their customer service is excellent.

Same here. They wanted a restocking fee. I said no. The item hasnt even been boxed up, let alone manufactured, and there is no policy on their site regarding a restocking fee.
I heard back with:

And I'll check my credit card statement to ensure it was the full amount.

Traded my 2023 std range XLT this week on a used one owner (dealer registered) extended range 2023 Lariat with 42 miles.

My question is will I miss out on receiving adapter because I sold the XLT this week and/or since I am registered owner of the used Lariat I will qualify for the adapter anyway?

Any thoughts on whether I am in either way or out either way?

Well tesla better get crackin' on updating the chargers in MO, SD & WY or my free adapter will be worthless.

They have been updating a lot of V3s with V4 dispensers, but the base power equipment is still just V3 hardware. So that means longer cables at a lot of locations.

That becomes a complete rebuild as they need new power cabinets too. As noted the new v4’s are mainly just pedestals with v3 power cabinets behind them. Typically they will build a new v3 on down the road somewhere and leave the v2 in tact. I have seen in Ardmore OK they added v3’s to the same location where v2’s already existed.

Yeah, I'm noticing the "build a new station nearby but don't replace the old one" trend when I look at the Tesla charger map. Interesting. For those gaps, there are decent EA stations I could use.
