I also picked these storage bars up at the dealer yesterday. Fun fact, the bracket location under the smaller rear seat is different in my PRO vs the Wife’s XLT. So while the long bar fit fine, the holes don’t line up for the small side.
I did check the part number and it’s correct per the Ford website. I will have to figure that out today

If anyone else has put these on a PRO and they fit just fine or figured out how to make them fit, I would love to hear about it.

Didn't use it for my Lightning, but in previous F-150s a piece of 1x6 (or a decking board) worked just fine. Holes can be wherever you want them to be! ;)

Yeah. I saw someone posted here about that. May have been you. But with FordPass points, I figured why not

I silenced the backup speaker today. Saw a post on MachE forum on how to do it, but Lightning is a bit different....

It is very simple tho...
The speaker is just behind the front bumper on the pass side frame rail. I took it off and out, but there is no need to do that... The MachE speaker can be disassembled and resistor added inside, but not the lightning (unless u want to solder) So removal/disassembly gets you nowhere....

So, just lay under truck
unplug the speaker and add
A resistor into the harness connector (5watt 4R7 4.7ohm off Amazon).
See pics.
I bent the resistor wires as shown and inserted into end of the wire connector, it fits tight, sealed it with dielectric grease and taped it up. I realize there is a more elegant way to do this, but as an experiment it works great and only takes a couple minutes.
Enjoy the silence!

My resistors arrived and I'm all ready to silence that speaker on day one upon delivery.

Thanks again for the tip.

I second that suggestion, it is very nice to retain the flip up on 60 part of the 60/40 fold.

I also highly recommend one of these baby cameras that has night vision to keep an eye on the rear facing little one. It is way easier to see than the traditional mirrors and thus is far safer to monitor while you’re driving.

One of the the first things I’m going to attempt on my lightning is to try to wire up this camera as a trailer cam to display on the main screen.
Amazing suggestion, ty. Also don't worry @SmoothJ, the seat is so easy to clip to the hard points that we'll be able to move it around no problem. Even removing it to access the storage is not a big deal.

I cannot recommend against this enough. Yeah, you lose the ability to flip up the 2 seater. But the inconvenience of walking around the truck EVERY time you need to put the baby in or take him/her out of the truck would be really annoying. You want the baby on the driver’s side for convenience. Get out of the truck, open the rear door, grab the baby. Get back to the truck, open rear door, click car seat into place, close rear door, open driver’s door. Now imagine doing that but walking around the truck each time?
Loving the back-and-forth here. First child for us so need all the different points of view we can get!

Had my car seat inspected at my local FD when we had our first child so I agree with @rdr854 's suggestion of middle seat being the safest. When we had our 2nd, I put the baby seat behind the passenger side. This made loading up the baby a little safer if I was parked on a busy street.

Had to elongate the holes since my seat attachment points are closer together. And then I cut the pressed washers off the bolts because they wouldn’t come off the bolts. And I got it to fit.

I'm hoping that the Lariat 511 package has the auto dimming mirror.

*fingers crossed*

No issues on my Pro:

I realize the picture is only of the long bar, but both went in with no issues.

I didn't even realize these were a thing. How do they impact rear passenger footspace?
Not at all, they basically convert unusable space to a small storage nook.

I keep a first aid kit, mobile charger, and a battery jump start pack there.

At $40 (plus $8 off currently), it's fairly inexpensive.

Installed Will’s adapter to silence the golf cart noises when backing up. No more Frunk, backup, or low speed beeping, after these mods.
