Truly I'm still torn about music sources. I know that bluetooth and XM are not good if you're looking for quality. For the time being I've ripped about 80 of my older CD's to FLAC files and have them on a USB.

I've only ever used Pandora as a paid service, but am looking at Apple Music - report is they have the highest bit rate. I'll have to run Car Play wired to keep any quality - Bluetooth would kill any quality I have.

So truly investigating to see what options are out there to take advantage of the system going in.
Add Tidal to your list of choices, if you haven't already. I've used them for years and truly enjoy both their variety and quality. My $0.02.

Installed the Frunk Cargo Rug and cargo holders. Not impressed, but does the basic job, so.
Was considering this as an early purchase.

I, too, want high quality.
Yes, you can tell quality difference in a vehicle...but...only to a point.
Maybe I simply accept XM & BT streaming quality is low and ignore it.
A quick switch to good 'ole FM reminds me.
I'm a Spotify fan, not for the sound quality, but the wide range and stuff, family plan, and how good it is between various devices.

I looked at them a while back, but thought the HQ music required a special player. Looks like maybe that has gone away.

Just doing some reading it also looks like the MQA format isn't what they advertise. However, they are still likely delivering much higher quality than others.

Do you use the Hifi or the Master plan?

I have to transport this back to my buddy house, anyone have a rick to keep the tailgate from jumping up and down?
+1 I drove with my tailgate down and my bed extender all the time on my 2017 Nissan Titan (had a damped tailgate) and never remember the tailgate bouncing around. The few times I've driven the Lightning with the tailgate down it bounces like crazy. Scared the crap out of the me the first time

Congratulations but you may want to change the car seat to the other side (passenger). This way you don’t loose the ability to flip up the 2 seater for certain cargo.
I cannot recommend against this enough. Yeah, you lose the ability to flip up the 2 seater. But the inconvenience of walking around the truck EVERY time you need to put the baby in or take him/her out of the truck would be really annoying. You want the baby on the driver’s side for convenience. Get out of the truck, open the rear door, grab the baby. Get back to the truck, open rear door, click car seat into place, close rear door, open driver’s door. Now imagine doing that but walking around the truck each time?

I have two kids…one in a infant car seat. Plus it’s easier so you can see your child vs having him/her behind you.

It not inconvenient and works out fine for me.

I have YouTube premium service and there is a high bitrate setting which sounds close to playing mp3/flac from a USB.
You also get youtube video with no commercials.
I love the service..

That one wasn't even on my radar. So you are saying they have music totally separate from the videos? Streaming like the traditional services? Will investigate.
